This grossly overpriced place is the epitome of Brooklyn hipster commerce.
I would have taken my small tasteless $10 milkshake in stride had my effort to merely get more perspective been so frustratingly thwarted. I expected to call the location and perhaps hear that the server had not used enough ice cream or otherwise made a rookie mistake.
Not only was the only telephone number that I could find for the New York corporate headquarters, which understandably was closed on Sunday, but all efforts to get a direct number or get minimal advocacy from other locations resulted in those employees being as nasty as they wanna be.
Please note that EVERY response to other 1-star review directs the customer to e-mail the company rather providing a Chestnut Hill number to call someone.
On a micro level, I strongly encourage anyone in the shopping center who craves an ice creamy treat to go to Shake Shack.
On a macro level, Boston is one of the largest ice-cream markets in the country. There are MANY better alternatives that include the Starbucks on virtually every corner.
The better news is that I know better than to go to the Seaport location when it opens in the...

I came here multiple times since their grand opening, and it hasn't disappointed me. They have clearly labeled vegan options, and a clearly labeled menu up on the boards. One nitpick is I would like to have a menu close to the door, since every time we came the lines stretched far out past the menu, but this didn't hinder me at all.
The portion size is decent for the price, and the prices are comparable to other local ice cream parlors in the area. The flavors are unique, and can be brought home by the pint if desired. I've tried the ice cream in the cup form and also as a milkshake, and both options were very good and tasty.
Overall a great ice cream place for the summer or to grab dessert after dinner. I would expect to wait...
Read moreWhen your charging close to $7 for a tiny ice cream you would expect a wonderful experience but you just won't find it here. The place is dismally understaffed resulting in long wait times on a Friday night. They were out of waffle cones and they don't tell you until after you have waited nearly 30 minutes. While the flavors were great, the portions are tiny. There were no napkins to be found and then they charged my son's kiddy as a small. All I can say is hopefully they hire some more scoopers because otherwise I wouldn't waste my time returning. There are many other quality ice cream places in the area where you won't wait 30 minutes for...
