Read moreI don’t know why I’ve been here over 20 times and haven’t written a review with how awesome they are! Actually I do. I want to be able to get a table here. The restaurant itself is cute rustic Italian. And the men making the pizza are actually Italian. I suggest sitting at the counter to watch them make the pies (and listen to the Italian, swoon), it’s a science. The servers are efficient but welcoming. They do not take reservations unless you’re a party of 6. I did hear a cringe convo between a party expected to be seated but the hostess just sat a party of their size. It must have been a mix up, or 2 parties of 6 made reservations at the same time… either way I’d double check they have your reservation name/time a few days before, cause it gets absolutely packed there at dinner time. And rightfully so. This is my favorite pizza in PA I’ve ever tasted, EVER. It’s chewy and a bit charred and sometimes the middle can get a little soupy with the sauce, but I love that. The margarita pizza is my favorite - I could drink their red pizza sauce. It reminds me so much of my grandmas pizza who immigrated from Bari Italy with a family of 5 kids and no English. I love supporting this family owned pizza shop! They have salads and pasta dishes too, with homemade pasta like their father restaurant vecchia osteria. And they’re BYO! I just wish it was easier to get a table, it would...
If you’re a pizza lover, Acqua e Farina – Brick Oven Pizza is a must-try! From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place is all about quality and authentic Italian flavor. The atmosphere is cozy and modern, with the smell of wood-fired pizza instantly making you hungry.
The pizza here is outstanding—thin, crisp, and perfectly charred from the brick oven. I ordered the Margherita and it was pure perfection. The crust had that beautiful balance of chew and crunch, the tomato sauce was fresh and flavorful, and the mozzarella melted just right. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and traditional methods.
We also tried the Prosciutto & Arugula pizza, which was just as impressive—savory, fresh, and beautifully balanced with a slight peppery kick from the arugula.
Service was friendly and fast, and the staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of. It’s clear they take pride in both their food and customer experience.
Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, Acqua e Farina delivers some of the best brick oven pizza in the area. This is definitely going to be a regular spot for me!
Don’t forget their Tiramisu. The best...
Read morelet me start off by saying the food is top notch. we order from here from work time to time. let me just say my last visit left me pretty frustrated. order went in at 1. i get there around 135. okay i get it maybe lunch is finishing up, maybe you're a little behind, whatever. but literally only a couple of items had been started, i had to sit there for almost an additional 30 minutes for them to finish the food. not a single person came up to me to apologize, to check how i was doing, to do anything at all. i am in the busiest time at my work right now. taking even 30 minutes from my day is not something i have the luxury of. an hour for me to get the food in total time, with 30 minutes having gone by before anyone even started my order. no one tried to contact me to tell me they were behind. literally you can't get any less customer service than nonexistent. lets also mention you cooked the fried calimari first then put it in a container to sit there for 20 minutes while i waited for the rest? do you think that calimari still tasted or looked good when i opened up...
