Wendy's — Restaurant in Newtown Township

I live close to the Wendys in Newtown Pa. I have been in a few times before the door closes at 10:00 pm. They do not allow anyone in after ten at night. Only drive through customer's are being served. Makes sense right ? Sure. So... Why do they ask customers this question when you are ordering inside, at 9:45pm, ( is your order for here, or to go ) if they dont give you enough time to eat that food. ??? I received my food after I ordered it... The time was 9:52. The ketchup dispenser was empty. So I asked for bags. Time I sat down was 9:54. So I began to eat. At 3 mins after 10 I was told... I'm sorry sir. You have to go now. Were closed now. This happened tonight. It has happened twice before. The time before I was asked to leave. The clean up kid says... Were closed, you have to leave. I said " Oh Ok. I didn't realize. Id been there about 15 mins. It was 10:01. So I did wonder what would happen tonight. I was prepared. Why dont you/ they say. "Only to go orders taken at the counter now." ? Go to any restaurant open till 10. If you come in and order food at 9:55 you can eat it there. They don't ask you to leave at 10. Right ? Unless they like loosing business. I was raised in the restaurant business. Wake up...

We went in last weekend march 2 2019 .we used gift cards and when you use gift cards the register and reciept will tell you the change on the cards we had 10 and some change left .the cashier put all three on the counter near her and quickly walked away ..and did not come back then when asked the manager if we can have the cards because their was change left she quickly walked over and took them outta his hand and said they were done walked over and threw them in the trash on top didnt look at us or say anything to us so the manager went and got the cards ran them and gave us the one with the change on it and apologized .the cashier said nothing but seemed angry us? Glaring at us while eating .I was young once and I know when someone is acting guilty and I feel the cashier was trying to get a free meal on us .we were their with our small children and things were a bit hectic and I feel she was trying to pull a fast one and take advantage ..not cool . We will no longer go their anymore .and besides wendys used to have huge tasty burgers back in the day when they had those" wheres the beef "commercials now its all bun and lettuce with tiny beef patties I have to check sometimes to see if their is a beef patty in...

I was told this was a fancy restaurant by one of the employees here. I went expecting a quaint environment and a nice meal. I was shocked to find out I had to wait in line with other plebeians that were clearly far less fortunate than I. Where was the quick seating and menu. All they had to drink was some nut soda and maybe some juice. Maybe they weren't serving alcohol at the time? I was in the mood for a Long Island Iced Tea or something. When I was served my food it was on a plastic tray and wrapped in foil. I went to Bennigan's last week and my burger was on a plate and came with a pickle and some slaw. These guys didn't even have the decency to prepare my burger properly. The jawn was square as if it was manufactured. If I wanted a McDonald's experience, I would have went to McDonald's. Please inform your team to not misinform the public about this place being a "restaurant". This was a poor man's Burger King. If I could rate this -3 stars I would. Stay away... unless you want some ole flies in your...
