BD is a nice lil bagel shop I cannot lie. This quaint shop run by a sweet old lady pumps out a variety of oversized bagels that are a pretty solid rendition on the NY classic. They have a great crusty exterior and pleasant chew/flavor profile. My only knock is i wish the chew were a bit more substantial and the inner texture lighter and leas bready feeling... A little more umph somewhere and these would be the bees knees. That being said they are legit and worth the travel to seek out. Now this is a mom&pop shop and pricing can vary a lil but in this economy/pandemic I dnt mind dolling out a lil extra for that homemade feel. *ProTip: arrive closer to closing and the sweet lady behind the counter might be inclined to throw a cpl extra on your order just cuz she's the sweetest!

Needed some breakfast/lunch passing through CT on I-84 and found this place easy off/on the highway. My first time there plus had my wife and 3 kids. What a great family run business. The owner Eunice is on the register and is the sweetest person. Her son Tim is taking orders, helping make food, and was super friendly making you feel like family. Service is relatively quick, but as a customer one must understand that good quality and fresh product may take a little extra time. There was a decent line when we came in so you know it must be good stuff here. The bagels are large and quite soft inside. Fresh whipped cream cheese with a variety of flavors. Sandwiches were outstanding! Definitely coming back when passing through the area again.

I have always loved Bagel Delight, every busy morning spent in line for an egg and cheese is always worth it, I always make a point to stop by when I'm back to visit in Connecticut. I stopped by today around 4pm to grab a few bagels to bring back to Philly, Eunice filled an entire bag for me when I shared how much I love this spot. Eunice is the epitome of kindness. Please support this business- we need more people in this world like her to spread joy in the smallest of places.

I love eunice and her bagels/food. But today was unacceptable. Im a regular and know that $20 is enough for an egg sandwich and chicken salad sandwich. I was charged $27 for a lousy egg & cheese and plain chicken salad. It would have been cheaper in Manhattan. Prices should be displayed as ive also been charged different amounts for the same exact sandwich. I never complain, and come to this place every Saturday and Sunday. I have no problem paying the extra dollar when i visit every weekend because the price on saturday is different from Sunday, but today it was again, unacceptable. If i paid instead of my girlfriend i would of said keep your food. I know this may be an extreme review for people who love Eunice but it is the truth. I will not be back unless nothing...

Unprofessional and rude owner who yells at her employees in front of customers. I had the unfortunate experience of witnessing Eunice scream at her employee in such a nasty way that I felt compelled to bring it to light in this review. Prices also vary depending on how much the owner likes you. Some people walk out with bags of free bagels while others pay close to $40 for a half dozen bagels and some cream cheese. You will be standing in line for at least 20 minutes while the owner makes small talk instead of focusing on keeping things moving. Overall a terrible experience that should normally be fast and easy. I’m very glad to know there is another bagel shop opened in town because I will no longer be supporting this absolute disaster...
