Burgerittoville — Restaurant in Newtown

I love the food at this place. Let’s start this review by explaining what a Burgeritto is, basically it’s an amalgamation of a burger and a burrito and it’s delicious. I visit this place often because it’s located in an old train station in Newtown, CT in the same parking lot as Cave Comics the local comic shop that I visit weekly. It’s a small quaint restaurant with a unique menu and location. You can dine in or take out. If it’s raining or snowing they have an awesome promotion where you can receive free fries during the bad weather. They have weekly specials that they rotate every week. Some of my favorite “rittos” are the Mickey D’s Ritto and the Swiss and Shroom Ritto. For the food alone this place deserves 5 stars but I have given it the score of only 4 stars for two reasons: On several occasions the restaurant has been closed for no explained reason during regular business hours (leaving me hungry and disappointed). It’s a little pricey, I pay the price because I like the product but I definitely think it’s overpriced and I definitely see where some people would not be happy with the price points and avoid eating here. Edit Back again for what must be the millionth time, and this time we got to share this place with our friends. Everything tasted amazing. My S/O got the bison burgeritto and I got the mickey d's burgeritto. Everything was super fresh, fries were nice and crispy. I had a milkshake that seemed to go on forever. Our friends tried some of the specialty bar drinks and they were on point. The bartender/waiter was super attentive. 5 stars as always!

The minute I walked in I knew I was gonna love this place! It's a little small, but the decor was amazing and I loved sitting at the wraparound hightop that would easily fit 6+ people at it. The staff were absolutely amazing as well. We placed our orders and within 5 to 10 minutes we were eating. I got the breakfast burrito and holy cow. Super yummy and filling. My S/O got the chicken cheese steak burrito. He really liked it but he felt that the chicken was a touch rubbery. We also had onion petals to share and those were amazing. The owner had been the one to greet us and he came to our table to see how everything was. Even though the chicken wasn't 100%, we still give 5 stars as no place is perfect and sometimes they have off days. I would love to go again if we are ever...

Super rude staff and Incompetent of doing their job. I’ve been to a lot of places and made a lot of awesome reviews, However, this is not the case here. Because of how the staff treats Customers and their lack of Customer service to even make an easy meal. I do not recommend this place for food and I will not ever be giving this company another chance. Main meal was okay at best but we paid extra for fries because they don’t come with your meal, and they were soft and gross. They don’t deserve my customer service as well as yours that’s for sure But don’t just take my review as reason. Check out The lack of customer service on the rest of their reviews!! If you can take some time and check out the rest of the reviews I have done for other companies. There have been so many places that have been incredibly awesome and spectacular to eat at.
