This was my second stop-in, in three weeks. Roughly around the same time of day(1000). It was two of us in our party today. We ordered an everything bagel with extra cream cheese / Cocoa Mocha / 2 Shots of Espresso / Ham & Vegitable Omlet on a croissant. The young man taking the orders is getting better, he has started about a month ago and is still learning OJT style with good manners. So keep up the learning curve young man and you will do well. There were three additional employees working with also a young lady in a blue shirt, we believe the team lead perhaps? It was only our party and also an order at the drive through window going on at the time. We placed our order and then walked over to the pick up counter and this is were our wait for eternity began. We noticed the different positions of each employee, one was handling the window orders, one was in charge of toasting bread and heating up items in the microwave, and the third employee was reading the screens for orders and assembling orders. As the young lady was creating one of our sandwiches she began to ask the window order taker where the ham was, there was none there, he kindly showed her, to take off the lid of the plastic storage containers and see it ( she was not looking for things just mainly jibber jabbering about ??? Making excuses why she couldn't do something.. she toasted the bagel and then she was acting flustered as she switched the bagel for the croissant, placing the toasted bagel tray ontop of the other items that needed to be toasted then having to move the tray again to get to the items to toast them and on, and on. Once this was done, the cream cheese everything bagel was put together and given to the drive through window customer vs to us, so they had to remake our bagel from beginning once again. After 10 min of standing and waiting on our food the cashier asked us if we were all good, I replied to we are still waiting on our sandwiches. He apologized again as we were waiting on our food.
The lady behind us cancled her order because they still had yet to put here simple bagels and cream cheese together and now it too has been at least 10 min waiting.
If the owner reads this please, use this as a tool in teaching your employees. We in the community do enjoy the DD franchise however if this time issue and productivity doesn't improve I am sad to say your revolving door of employees will continue and the reviews will get worse.. (not good for business).
I look forward to my next experiance hoping it...
Read moreThis Dunkin definitely needs to hire people who know how to work. I continue to give this place chance after chance hoping it will be different next time. They can never get orders right. Once I ordered I small hot peppermint mocha. The lady waited until I got to the window and gave her my money to tell me that they can’t make hot coffee right now, so I had to get it iced. It wasn’t even peppermint mocha, it was just mocha. Today I ordered the cookie crumble cold brew. I got to the window and paid, then was given the information that there was no more cookie butter cold foam or topping left, so he just put normal whipped cream on top. Not to mention he didn’t mix the cookie butter liquid in the coffee or a straw for me to do it myself. It was literally just iced black coffee with whipped cream on top and the last sip was pure cookie butter syrup. Also, he couldn’t even do simple math to give me the correct amount of change back. If you want to get paid for working at a place like this, then you are expected to know how to take orders and make what the person ordered. If you can’t make the persons order due to lack of supplies then let the customer know and give them different options or something. Nobody asked you to improvise...
Read moreStopped by about 9:45 this morning for the first time since the pandemic began; they were already out of my 1st two choices, not a big deal nowadays. The cashier was wearing a facemask below her nose and at one point touched her mask and handed out change to the cutomer in front of me. As I pulled up to the window I watched her walk over and pick up the donuts with the same gloves without using the waxed paper sheets normally used to handle the food. When she came back, I requested she change gloves and replace the order, which was met with a slight huff and again no paper barrier. I completed the order and left only to discover a couple of blocks later while waiting at a red light the order wasn't right. I returned to the store, requested and recieved a refund which was met with more bad attitude. All of the employees were wearing their masks incorrectly below the nose both times and could care less about safe food handling. Attempted to email the area manager listed on the receipt only to discover the em ail address was invalid. Researched the franchise phone number and called. The call was never answered. Not a frequent customer prior to this incident; no longer a customer...
