Rock N Roll Sushi — Restaurant in Niceville

Decided to try something new today & went for lunch with my fiancé. It was an awesome experience! Didn't get sushi, but decided to try the shrimp bowl and he got the chicken bowl. We both got fried rice. Was amazing & loaded with veggies & shrimp on mine & chicken on his. (will remember to take pictures next time!) It was more than what I was expecting for lunch, so I did bring some home. (I'm not complaining)

The cashier was very nice & answered all our questions (our 1st time @Rock&RollSushi). Nice atmosphere & decor!

We got our food, sat down & met a man, sitting across from us with a little amp & a laptop, he happened to be an employee. His name was Tracy (not sure if he was the manager or the owner), but he was very friendly, down to earth & just very cool!

We talked for almost an hour with him about Rock & Roll Sushi, rock & roll, music in general, musicians, guitars, basses, and some of our personal experiences. We truly enjoyed every single minute of it! He was great & made the meal even more enjoyable!

Price for lunch isn't bad for what all we got & it was delicious! I know we will definitely be back!

I am in the Walmart often so I have been anticipating for this place to open for awhile now. They opened today so I had to get myself something. I am honestly quite disappointed, I didn’t even finish my sushi. I ordered the volcano roll and a ginger side salad, and my daughter got the fried rice. I was unable to get a picture of the fried rice because she ate it all but the rice in the fried rice and the sushi was very mushy yet still had crunchy bit like it was not cooked all the way through. My sushi didn’t have a side of ginger and wasabi like I am used to anytime I order sushi. The ginger salad only had lettuce and sesame seeds. Her fried rice had like 5 pieces of chicken and came in a container the size of the palm of my hand. I am not sure what I was expecting but just wanted to share my experience for others that may be hesitant. It is there first day so it may get better but I just wanted to share. I know these folks just started, but they need to do something about the service. 30 minute wait to get the food and there were only 3 people. The waitress just handed us the food like doing us a favor. We were dining-in but served us in a to-go container tightly closed. No apologies for the delay, not even an "enjoy your food". Nothing. Nada. Tipping them 20% at the cashier before the service was rendered was a bad idea. I know the place is called Rock N' Roll, but I didn't know that meant listening to music loud like if I was in a rock concert. It was so loud that I had to rush eating up the meal, and no, they weren't about to close. More than 3 hours ahead of them, so I don't understand the loudness of music and...
