BEWARE ORDERING ON HOLIDAYS If I could give a negative I would. I’ve worked in the food industry and 100% understand how busy and overwhelming it can get during the holidays. I prepared waiting a while for my food, I called and ordered two taco salads at 5:10 PM on New Year’s Eve. The lady informed me it would take 20 minutes for my order to be ready so I arrived right at 5:30 PM. I order here frequently and have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my food, well this time I had to wait 5 minutes before she even took my payment and informed the kitchen I was here. If they even do that. As I waited for my food, the two people who came in after me directly got their food, I didn’t hear their order numbers. Then I started to pay attention to order numbers being called out as I had waited 10 minutes already and had seen numerous large difficult orders go out when I just had two taco salads. Mind you, these consist of premade taco shells, ground beef that you know they make a lot of at a time, lettuce, tomato, sour cream and probably premade gucamole. I chose these because I knew it would one of the easiest fastest items for them to make. I look at my phone and it is now 40 minutes into waiting there that I decide to speak up, customers are walking right in the door and immediately getting their food that are 10’s-20’s higher than mine and 10x more complex like Molcajetes and soups. The guy assisting the lady in charge of pickups did not ask me one time what my order number was but kept asking those around me, I wanted to go back and make it myself knowing how simple it was. If I hadn’t already paid I would have left right out the door and done just that which I should have done in the first place. Just wanted to support my local Mexican joint. It was a total of an hour and three minutes before I got my two taco salads. Disgusting. This goes without saying but we are on the hunt for our next go to...
Read moreSorry I have to leave this here, but today will be my last visit.
So, every year Fiesta Mexico, and many other business, advertise on a "Discount Card" for one of the local school athletic programs. They have done this for years, and for years I buy the card for the discounts and to support both the kids and the business.
On my card, as well as that of others, the discount states "15% OFF TOTAL BILL". I had not been going to Fiesta for the past year or so as I felt their service and quality had gone down hill, however I recently started going again on a weekly basis.
The first few times, after I paid, I questioned if they were applying the discount correctly as the total did not reflect the correct discounted amount. I kept watching and finally realized they were not applying the corrected discount. I did not say anything, until today.
At check out, I showed Humberto the card to which he redid my check and gave me a total (of which I knew in advance) was not correct. I kindly asked if that new price reflected the "15%" discount. Humberto, stated it was not 15%, but only 10%. I nicely stated that the card correctly reflected 15%. Humberto grabbed it, looked at it, and handed it back to me. He looked at me, and said "Sorry only 10%". I told him, the card clearly states 15%. Humberto, said they only honor 10%.
I told him this was very misleading and unfortunate for his customers. He just said "Sorry". Sadly, I told him I would not be back...and I wont.
I understand its only a 5% difference. I get that its only cents or a few dollars most...BUT it's the principle. It's the lack of taking care of a long term customer. It's the lack of making it right. It's the lack of...
Read moreFood was ok, honestly I feel it’s not as good as it used to be. Service is why I won’t be back, I had to wait (5-10 mins)for her several times to come by as I needed something and I get she’s busy but felt we were her lowest priority , she literally walked away as I was speaking when taking my order … so I had to wait to catch her to finish, needed to add rice and beans and it took longer then the whole meal to come out, cheese dip was cold and for the price it should be melty hot, my son got a kids meal and she charged us a full size drink.. now if he had drank the entire full size and refilled ok but didn’t and when I asked it to be fixed on the bill they refused … she made us feel like we were bothering her and the absolute attitude I got when nicely asking for something has made this our last time here. There are other Mexican restaurants in town better and they really should value every guest and make sure the service is at least decent. I mentioned our terrible service at check out as well and not even a sorry they’ll do better or anything...
