Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Nicholasville

I like Papa John's crust better than the other "fast food" pizza places around. My favorite kind of pizza is woodfired but not exactly budget friendly, so Papa John's is the next best thing for me. Their crust is more elastic rather than bready. I also love their stuffed crust!! I gave it a 4 star because it is a hit or miss whether they put enough toppings on or cut the slices equally when they are busy. But that is a small thing comparatively. I don't regret eating their pizza afterward like I do their competitors' pizza.

*edit: Lately, their prices have been going up, which I get because of the economy, but they are also skimping on their toppings and sauce even more than they did before.

Update 12/13 Worst experience ever. I placed my order on the app, then went to pick it up in the window of time it told me to. It hadn't even gone in the oven yet even though the app tracker said it was ready for pick up. I was told it would be another 10-15 min. I waited 20 just to be sure then checked the app and it said my order had been picked up already. I went back inside and they gave me the same line about my pizza being next to go in the oven and it would be 10-15 min. I asked about the tracker and they just shrugged. 20 min later my pizza was finally...

first Pizza wrong, second pizza had 1/4" of uncooked dough, tried eating the first one they gave us and it was undercooked as well to being completely wrong. had to ask for my money back. said it would take 2 days it's been 3 and I'm calling back. But it gets worse...my 5 year old daughter may have ate some and the next day spent was spent throwing up and the night was spent at the hospital after she threw up a string. The string looks like something that keeps a bag of dog food closed or maybe a flower bag. I would not recommend this place at least for a while; my sister said she got a pizza the same day we did and that she was feeling sick too. I think they just need new management...and in a hurry it seems to be that people's lives could be at stake. but I ah e provided pictures of the string and pizza. I tried cooking the pizza but it just burnt the out side. you can still kinda tell how undercooked the dough is. Wish I could...

They like to ignore the phones and good luck getting anything with the feedback email from the manager. They also like to charge you close to $4 bucks to double extra cheese and then put SO LITTLE on your pizza that the sauce is pulling through it. Even when you do call for a remake it's never right. Nor can they ever seen to actually cut a pizza the right way. The GM has ignored my request for a refund for 3 days now. I love papa John's. It's normally my go to. But this towns location is awful. You're employees are always super nice but Lord help y'all when it comes to making and cutting a pizza right. Y'all charge way too much to be messing it up and it's not just one time. It's EVERY TIME we've ordered for months now hasn't been accurate. I don't even like leaving reviews but I'm being ignored about my refund and it's highly annoying and...
