$7.50 for a small iced biscoff coffee that had no sugar, no flavoring of biscoff in it. Just tasted like oat milk flavored coffee. The atmosphere wasn't too inviting, the girl didn't greet. I understand this is a small business but I feel small businesses should work harder to attain clientele. Dunkin' Donuts has iced coffee for way cheaper. I didn't feel I got any value. I was going to get a sandwich, but when I saw $14-$15 for one PLUS the $7.50 small coffee, we're looking at over $20 for 2 items that are easily $10-$12 max anywhere else. I also saw Caprisun juice packs being sold for $1.50 when they're sold $2 for a pack of 10. Price gouging is ridiculous. I won't be back. I'll try to support another small business that doesn't try to price gouge their clientele. This wasn't it. I had to come to work to sweeten my expensive drink. Paying that much, I shouldn't have to do anything to it.
Edit: and from your other responses particularly a woman who complained about customer service your answer to them was "service is for paying clients". You have an issue in your store that you are ignoring because you have "regular customers". Your BISCOFF coffee had no flavor of BISCOFF. how about work on...
Read moreThis is a cute little coffee spot located next to the Best Buy at the Village Crossing outdoor mall in Niles. They have a small inside area and an enclosed outdoor seating area. We opted to sit outside.
I initially ordered a drink that was like a chunky monkey (chocolate and banana). They had several drinks on their menu that had banana in them (and as evidenced on their new menu, there are no bananas anywhere on it). After I ordered it and ordered something to eat, they came outside and told me that they didn't have the banana syrup and have been out for a while.
Okay, if you're out of something for a while, you should really update your menus or at least cross out the missing items so customers don't order it. This left me flummoxed as I didn't know what I wanted to order and even though no one was there, I felt rushed to order something different.
I settled on a caramel macchiato and a chocolate croissant. Both were very good. And I'm glad they have altered their menu to reflect the fact that the banana syrup is no longer an option.
I'll have to check back in and try a seasonal special treat and grab a...
Read moreI would give zero stars if I could! I had a horrible customer service experience I came into the establishment and didn’t get greeted or felt welcomed! The lady Dalia at the register didn’t want to serve me! But was really friendly to the other white customers. If you’re a person of color I wouldn’t suggest it! Hopefully it was an isolated incident and Dalia can have a better day!!
*edit: I wouldn’t spend a dollar if customer service when I walk in isn't up to par! I came in for coffee the employee was rude, I left. Are you suggesting that I THEN spend money in a place where I did NOT feel welcomed and could tell that she was substantially nicer to other customers! I think you should update your policy to be courteous to anyone who comes in, to encourage potential customers to not only buy things but to return. I would also encourage you Work on your customer service. I won’t...
