Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Niles Township

If I could give this "restaurant" 0 stars I absolutely would. It takes something extremely horrible to happen for me to write a review, but my health was at risk at this place and I NEED people to be VIGILANT about this unprofessional & unsanitary establishment. On April 19th 2024 I went to Chili's in skokie. I was sat at the booth and my server's name was Lavell. When he approached my table, his energy was off immediately and I was confirmed of that by what he said. He introduced himself and asked for my drink order. He asked if I was ready to order, in a rushy manner, and followed up with saying he was trying to get off work early so if I was ready to order that would be great. Mind you it's 9pm and Chili's closes at 10pm. So at this point I'm debating on just getting up and leaving but I stayed because I was meeting up with one other person. I did know exactly what I wanted but it was the fact I was being rushed Into ordering that completely turned me off. When my food and drink came out it was given to me by a hispanic lady with honey red blonde hair and glasses (I want to say she's Puerto rican) and her energy was giving "clean up" vibes. I figured it was due to Lavell's initial encounter with me. I told her thanks and began eating. I ordered 4 chicken crispers with loaded mash and street corn. I got a lemonade as well. I began to stir around my loaded mash an found an UNIDENTIFIED OBJECT. It looked exactly like a large chunk of MOLD!!!!!!!! I say MOLD because I cut into it with a knife and it was black, solid and had white little spots. I WAS IMMEDIATELY INFURIATED!!! I called Lavell to the table to show him and his response was very nonchalant and passive. He says sorry about that, smirks and says i will grab a manager. While I waited for themanager, a short Mexican guy (he was a cook) came out and was staring at me smirking. He walked out like he was told something and came out to see. He walked back to Lavell and they both laughed. I JUST SAID I FOUND MOLD IN THE FOOD THAT I ORDERED FROM YOU ALL!!! I am completely mind blown but in the back of my mind I began thinking it was a tactic done by the kitchen and the server because they wanted to get off work early. What better way to make someone hop up and want to leave other than putting something in their food? Ridiculous! The manager comes out and he was even more unprofessional than Lavell. I see how he was hired. He proceeds to make a sad reason of an excuse and says it's a piece of potato. It was NOT! He then was trying to offer me something remade from the kitchen. (I QUICKLY DECLINED!!!) He was Stuttering and couldn't even keep eye contact wit me. He CLEARLY was LYING. I am sitting there in disbelief. The seriousness of MOLD itself is life threatening let alone it being in MY FOOOOD! WOW! The bill was NOT compt and I didn't want to make a large scene so I paid and began getting up out the booth. Lavell was on the side of the bar on his phone, didn't look up, say have a great night despite what I found, or anything!!!! Like I said he was trying to get off work and didn't give a F*#k. Such poor customer service in this place and it need to be shut down due to unsanitary purposes. IF YOU WISH TO ENJOY NON MICROWAVED FOOD PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE!!!!! UNLESS YOU WANT TO END UP IN THE HOSPITAL!! I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE AND WILL TELL AND SHOW EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT THIS...

Bugs were flying all over the bar area Because they don't keep it as clean as they should stagnant water.. 2 different sets of silverware His head food on him.. Food quality $22 worth of food was not worth it tasteless disgusting Low tiny quality shrimp that were soft Steak came out hard as a rock very little other things that came with it in size portions like rice things. Chicken completely tastes I never complained in my life about anything and love chili's all the time this was horrible they actually sent it back because they spilled water with soap cleaning the Barglasses splashed it all over my food I just started eating so they took it back. Came back with worst amount of food worst quality than the 1st one was pretty good but 2nd 1 was not. Service artender was very nice wasn't really her fault it happens it's accidental no problem can't blame her. Manager came out gave me the 2nd one and took the dirty fork. You would think he would have discounted a little bit or at least spot the one beer. Got stuck with all this to be a $40 bill for one person for 1 beer and The food was horrible and I eat everything in my life not complaining normally but it just was a bad location In Skokie or Niles wherever it is. It was just not good it was basically a $10 item heard other people complaining about the cost of their stuff behind me As well a couple tables they really need to get better management I think because they shouldn't have bugs all over the place they shouldn't have me waiting 10 minutes or more before they even get me a drink which I was OK with they said they are busy that was OK. But after all that then my food messes up they take it back give me a second one doesn't even look like the 1st 1 did and it was the same kind and the food was horrible to stick was tough it was the steak chicken shrimp fajitas $22. And $9 for 1 tap beer. Plus tax over $5 plus tip over $7 it's absolutely stupid all of it.. The portion size is smaller than what you use to get at that place for fajitas and it was more like 3 tacos that you could put your stuff on it wasn't a fajita fajitas are different they call it fajitas but it was a taco soft taco Absolutely horrible I should have just paid $40 for a small cheeseburger there I would have been happier I've never complained about any location or any place ever. That is horrible there. It's 22ﾟ outside and snowing when I left there should not have bugs in the place and bad service especially the way this world is they need to get their s* together. I couldn't believe he didn't give me a discount...

First, let me start off saying Chili’s is one of my most favorite places. I always go to this location because it’s the best well I thought. I came out for my birthday really excited to eat dinner with my family. From the moment we sat down our waiter LUCY was very rude, inpatient & inconsiderate. As we are waiting for our food I stated I would like ALL of our food out at the same time because we ordered two triple dippers as a meal & one as an appetizer. She comes out with one of the triple dipper & I ask if the rest of the food will be coming out she said it will be a few more seconds for our food. We waited over five minutes and still didn’t receive our other food when I express this to her because I wanted to eat dinner as a family for my birthday, she said “well you have your food at least right?” That’s not the point the point was, I asked her from the jump if she can bring everything out together we had a party of six one person got their food while everybody didn’t so by the time our food came out the other person’s food would be cold. I asked for them to put it in the warmer in the back until all of our food was ready they suggested and offered to remake it which I appreciate it, but please at the end check your bill they charged me for four triple dippers until I seen it on my receipt and said something I also had a coupon for free chips and dip I stated that I had that at the beginning she told me she will take it off at the end of my bill while I was going over my bill I was charged for that so please if you go to this location, go over your bill thoroughly. I was so over the customer service that we didn’t even order dessert to sing happy birthday. She stated it was the kitchen fault, but it had nothing to do with them because the food was great it had everything to do with her customer service as a waitress. The manager stated he would give us a “discount” & didn’t which is totally fine. I would rather have great customer service than a discount. Will not be going back to...
