The food was great, was cooked up in 30 minutes, was hot & ready to eat. Very expensive pizza it is. A large deep dish with 4 toppings is $50. Great pizza & was worth its value. If it wasn't for the service provided by the woman taking orders I would have given 5 stars. Her attitude towards my friend & I was negative. Sure we took 10 minutes in the store to figure out what kind of pizza we wanted & which toppings, she didn't seem to like that at all. Which is where negative attitude started. There was seating available in the restaurant but we were told we can't eat in there. There's no notice at the store saying we cant eat there, but we can only wait inside. We ate pizza outside in the cold at Oberwise. My friend went back in the restaurant to get some plates, utensils, & the red pepper flakes & parmesan cheese. Just one small bag, he asked for more. Outright she said "No". Friend asked if he could buy some more. She said "No, that's enough" It's times like this, close to when a restaurant is closing I seem to get more negativity on service.
The pizza was good, but next time I'll order online & curbside pickup so I won't have to deal with...

To get that savory taste, you have to eat in the restaurant and hope you have a chef that will take it out of the oven before the crust over-cooks and avoid the warming ovens with the pizza already inside the box waiting for pickup or delivery.
This location is just delivery and the closest to our house and we had guests so I picked up a few pizza pies here.
It was still good, but not what I remember eating when dining in, and one was over cooked, so I was a touch disappointed, but what else can they do, other than give it to you still hot, straight out of the oven, still in the cast iron pan so you can bring it home and then return the pan later too get your pan deposit back? No box holding in the moisture? Maybe delivery vans with ovens to finish the baking process on the way to your house? Zume went bankrupt trying...
Read moreWe're in Chicago at meal time. What are we going to eat? Deep dish. Well, ok, and pasta, 'cause I do.
He got the deep dish pepperoni. I got the chicken and broccoli Alfredo. We both took home three more meals. Be warned, the "standard portion" pasta is apparently meant for small families, not solo diners! And the Alfredo doesn't come as a lunch special. I don't mind, tho. It was good enough to eat for breakfast. Twice.
My big complaint - I placed the order early so the pie would have time to cook even though we wanted to dine in, and the guy said this was a take-out only location. He was wrong, as there are about 6 seats in the dining area that he could have mentioned, and didn't. We ended up eating in, after all, but there was a bit of a scramble on my part due to the miscommunication. I'd still eat here every week if...
