If I could give this place more stars, I would!! Not only for the ice cream, experience but customer service. This was our first time visiting the Chocolate Shoppe and it will not be the last. We walked in and were immediately welcomed/ greeted by Edward ( best costumer service). He made our experience very memorable and pleasant. He offered us a sample brownie ( it was delicious) and waited patiently as we looked around. The decor is awesome. The shop is clean and very tidy. Once we made our selection, he served our ice cream up right away. We decided to sit down and enjoy our tasty treat at the shop. Edward then walked around offering everyone iced water. I’ve lived around the corner from this place almost my whole life but only discovered it this summer, and boy have I been missing out. Since my first visit, I have been here an embarrassing amount of times, and I’m not what you’d describe as an ice cream person.

The ice cream here is phenomenal—lots of choices for every palette, from my toddler niece to “not a dessert person” me. I particularly enjoy the Zanzibar chocolate—deceptively simple but truly the best chocolate ice cream I’ve ever tasted. The owners are the sweetest people, and they keep the space clean and inviting.

Went to this place because it was local, got great reviews, and we are new to the area. I was very disappointed. I asked for a little bowl or container and an extra spoon to share my ice cream with my two year old daughter and was told that I would be charged for it. Also for the price, I was expecting a better size scoop of ice cream. My family and I left unsatisfied and still craving ice cream. It didn't hit the sweet spot. I won't be coming back because there are other local options that may provide extra spoons and a bowl for a child and a better size scoop of ice cream.
