Front Street Pizza Pub — Restaurant in Niles

We had reservations at Niles haunted house at 7 so we decided to pick a sit down place since we were in town at 5 and this place looked good (didn't read negative reviews). Upon arrival 10min after 5, everything seemed great and we had ordered our appetizer, food and drinks all right away at the same time to save time. The appetizer and drinks came out fine and she even refilled the drinks after receiving the appetizer. We only saw our waitress when she came out to us so we never could get her attention when/if we needed anything (like we weren't brought silverware). Well over an hour and 20min later our pizza finally came out and we were given the wrong one. She never came back to check w/us and we didn't have time to get another one made so we just ate it and when she did come out I had to ask for a box 3x. I also informed her that our pizza was wrong (pepperoni only vs 4 meat) she only offered (after the 2nd time of me asking for boxes) to remake the pizza and never to give us a discount or anything. By the time we actually got the boxes and our check it was 11 min til 7 and we just ended up paying with cash because she never came back after our card and we ended up leaving more of a tip than we wanted to also as we never got change either; as we had to leave for our reservation. The deep dish wasn't terrible if the service was better and it was made correctly. The pizza sauce does taste like they add dry seasonings to pureed tomatoes w/o cooking it down so it is a very dryish thick clumpy sauce which is...

Following our experience below, we were contacted by the manager and mailed a gift certificate. We decided to try again with a visit during our winter snowstorm. We ordered drinks and the deep dish pizza again. Atmosphere was quiet but many small animated groups. Our pizza arrived quicker than 50 minutes and was delicious. We were warned by the waitress about the 14" deep dish and she was correct. Most of it traveled home. Very hearty and highly recommended.

We've eaten here many times with good service and excellent food. The Vinaigrette Pizza is the best. Tonight we went early, 4:30 p.m., so we could try the deep dish pizza which takes 50 minutes to cook. Even though we sat outside on the patio "A" brought our drinks and appetizer quickly. After an hour wait for the pizza she dropped by and asked if we needed anything and I said, "Just the pizza". About 20 minutes later she comes back to say another server had delivered our pizza to another party and would we be interested in theirs? Shouldn't have to show up before busy time, wait 2 hours, and be offered someone else's meal with no compensation offered. Walked home and ordered a Cottage Inn vegetarian deep dish for delivery despite a 90 min. wait on a Fri. night. They delivered our delicious...

This is the first time I've posted a bad review, but I went to Front Street with my family today. We sat down, the place didn't appear to be very busy. After a few minutes, they took our drink order and our food order at the same time. Ordered sodas, two side Caesar salads and a pizza. After about 30 mins they brought out dinner salads, whatever we were hungry. About 20-30 mins later the waitress came to inform us that the kitchen never got our pizza order and that they were going to comp it for us. We asked if we could just get the pizza in a box and for the check and we are told the pizza will be out in a second. Another 15-20 mins go by the check is dropped off. I put my card in and we wait, at this point I was still intending to tip the waitress since it could honestly be an issue with the kitchen and she was doing pretty good about keeping our drinks refilled. Another 20 mins go by the waitress hasn't even come to pick up the card to run it. At this point we have missed the movie, don't care about the pizza (which never came) and we are beyond disappointed and upset.
