I absolutely love the Riverfront park! It brings alot to our small town. Lit up at night. And every has mile by mile workout stations and a great play park for children ... I myself have gotten in this Pokemon, yes i admit it. However it is died down a bit the riverfront is a great place to walk around safely and play this game! I go everyday. And when im down there i have been finding tons of trash in the bushes food wrappers, cups ,liquor bottles and ect... Maybe if there was more than one trash can people would actually try to throw or attempt to put in the trash. Now i spend most my time in the area by the play grounds Amphitheater and along the river. I finally today found a trash can buy the parking lot on the east side by the Eagles bar. I take a bag every time i go to clean up trash! Now when there are events going on THERE trash cans are on every corner! If You want the public to keep the park cleaned up, can you maybe get some trash cans that stay there! Because it's only getting worse! And we dont want that part of the river to become like the end where the damn is! Js #keepitreal And Pokemon is getting crazy and atracks all...
Read moreNice little park near the river. It an excellent spot for Pokemon Go, with a high spawn rate of water types: Psyduck, Poliwag, and Magicarp, with a cluster of stops that are usually lured. Very close proximity to the YMCA and often used for fitness classes and outdoor activities. Walking distance to restaurants in the area as well. This park also boasts one of the cheapest movie theaters i have seen in a very long time ($2.00-$5.00), it not huge but nice with comfortable seating. Likewise the concessions are very affordable and much much better than most theaters. Its possible to see a movie with a family of four for the price you would pay for one person at your average movie theater. On Friday nights (warmer months), they do a free movie outside near to the playground which is really cool...
Read moreThis place is nice for a quiet walk by a river or a place to let kids unwind on a decent-size playground. My kids love it. They have all kinds of free live music during the summer. This past weekend was the hunter ice festival and there are still some ice sculptures left. A lot of it is free and there is free parking everywhere. They also have those work-out stations on a walking trail and there is a skate park not too far away. I dont go to it so I cant speak to it but it's also free. There are also some landmark things. History of Niles stuff. Take a walk by the canon and the...
