Handel's Homemade Ice Cream Niles — Restaurant in Niles

Normally when I go here it's fine, but my visit today was entirely horrendous. We were the FIRST to order out of 3 groups of people, yet we were served LAST. And all we ordered were 2 milkshakes, and a quart of ice cream. My partner dropped her milkshake because the cup folded in on itself, so it wasn't entirely her fault. However they did not replace it and we had to pay for a 2nd one, again it wasn't even entirely her fault. THEN the 2nd milkshake that she paid for was the WRONG flavor. Unbelievable. By the time we realized that we were already in the car and leaving, so we just left. Then I noticed that my milkshake seemed like it was already melted, but it had only been 2-3 minutes. Sure it's hot today but melting in that short a time seems implausible. I open the lid to look and it's completely bubbly and watery. What a waste of $30. As someone in the service industry, these people need a major lesson in customer service, and quality control. ...

I stopped by the Niles store to get some ice cream after a stressful day at work. I walked up to the window and 2 employees made eye contact with me then continued to ignore me (and 2 other customers that had pulled up) as i stood at the window for 10 minutes. They then turned off all the lights and locked the windows right in front of us and it wasn’t even 9:00. This is the 3rd time in the past week i’ve been to this store well before 10 and they were closed. I’ve worked in the food industry for years and i find it was extremely unprofessional and flat out rude for the employees to ignore customers and lock the windows/turn off the lights...

Trust was there today for the very first time we went down there cuz we live a few minutes from there I got three shakes two vanilla one chocolate the girl took 5 minutes to write that down on a piece of paper she wrote so slow, she took her time making the first shake gave it to us, and did the same with shake number 2 an 3, 3 shakes worth 17.00 when I looked at my email that they charged me $20 for three milkshakes never again will we go down there we'll either go to dairy Queen where it's cheaper or steak and shake, after I drank mine I got stomach pains,...
