Bombay Curry and Grill is by far the best Indian restaurant in Northeast Ohio.
I was first introduced to Bombay a few years ago from a co-worker who insisted we eat there for lunch. This was during their lunch buffet, and since I had never had Indian food it allowed me to sample a few options to determine what I like. To my surprise, there was nothing I did not love. From that point on I decided I am a big fan of Indian food, and made a point to try Indian food in various areas from various restaurants. While a lot of these places were good in their own right, nothing has come close to Bombay. From the food to the service, Bombay continuously blows their competition out of the water.
The food - everything is made with quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. Each bite is packed with flavor, but not overly so like some places tend to do. The level of spice is perfect, especially considering you can tweak the heat to your liking. The sauce in their curry and tikka masala is thick, allowing it to properly coat the meat and vegetables and hold on to naan bread for dipping. Again, this is not the case with all Indian restaurants. The portion sizes are generous as well, I almost always have enough for lunch the next day.
The service - the service at Bombay is impeccable. The staff there is always friendly and attentive regardless of how busy they are. It also seems that staff there stays around for quite some time, many of the employees who were there during my first visit are still there today, which is impressive in food service.
As I'm sure is the case with most others, I have found myself ordering carry-out or delivery a lot more in the last year and a half. This is yet another area where Bombay excels. In my opinion, you are typically sacrificing some quality when ordering carry-out or deliver. This is not the case with Bombay, everything I have ordered to go has been just as great as it is served fresh while dining in. All of the food is packed carefully in sturdy containers to prevent any leaking, and you still get the same generous portion sizes.
All in all, I can't express enough just how great Bombay is. I've recommended this to friends and family countless times and will...
Read moreMe and my fiance love this very fancy and intriguing Indian restaurant it is the best buffet from 11 to 230pm is open every day of the week except Mondays. Closed on Mondays. They have maps of India on the tables under glass which is really cool and informative! 🤯 The food has spices that will blow your mind! They are very good spices and if you know history then you know people from all across the world would go to India or Indian restaurants to try their spices the spices are unique and are very enjoyable and pleasurable. Indian food is a vegetarian's dream but they also have chicken as well in goat at times. But everything is explained in a little sign above each dish when you go to the buffet so it tells you the name of it and what's in it. It is only $20 for two people (buffet time) they have drinks one is a masala tea and mango juice. The first is masala tea to settle or protect your stomach and the other one is to cool down your mouth if something is 2 spicy or cleans the palate for another enjoyable tasty bite for new flavors. a another tip about the mango juice is the fact it is a nice sweet drink to offset other spices. Personally, I love this place one of our favorite restaurants. Also,I have noticed people from doordash internet delivery service come in and pick up for customers !!!! I have inquired to them to sign up for Uber eats GrubHub and Postmates but they are still looking into it. I tried to share my knowledge from what I learned on the internet as much as I can for the people two are nice and treat people good I believe and Good karma for all. Well, that's all I have enjoy the restaurant whenever you...
Read moreDisappointing Management Ruins an Otherwise Great Restaurant
We’ve been loyal customers of this restaurant for over 10 years, consistently enjoying their delicious food. However, after our recent experience on a Sunday night, we’ve decided we will no longer be ordering from them.
While the food remains as flavorful and satisfying as always, the management has taken a serious turn for the worse. When we called in regarding an error with our order, not only did they refuse to acknowledge their mistake, but they were also incredibly rude about it. Instead of offering a simple apology or a solution, they were defensive and dismissive.
It’s truly disappointing when a restaurant with such great food can’t get the customer service right. After a decade of loyalty, it’s unfortunate that we’re forced to look elsewhere for our favorite Indian dishes. If the management doesn’t improve, I doubt we’re the only long-time customers...
