Ok, this is my longest review I've ever left. I usually don't bother posting about the bad experiences, but I think this one needs attention. How can I put this. This is a bit of a read, if you can make it until the end.
I've been here 5 times. The first time I went. It was really great. Very nice waitress and great food. But, each time I've gone, the service has declined further and further. I haven't been there in over a month because of my last experience there. That time, I never got greeted walking in. Took almost 10 minutes to even take my drink order. I was there for over an hour and my waitress came to my table TWICE. She would look over at me, and I would try to wave her over to get a refill and she would just look away. Almost the entire time I was there, she would be over sitting at the bar flirting with what appeared to be her boyfriend, but who knows. Not only trying to get a drink refill for over an hour, I couldn't even my check to pay. So I had to go up to the bar and ask another waitress for my check so I could leave. I hadn't been back in a month until tonight.
So tonight, was a different story. I come in a restaurant to relax after a long day, eat, and enjoy myself. I don't ever feel welcome when I come here from the second I walk through that door. I came in tonight, walked over to grab a table and I just got gawked at by the entire restaurant and staff. I went and sat on the other side of the restaurant where there wasn't anyone sitting waiting to be served. After about 5 minutes I get asked my drink order, eventually got the food. Waitress came to the table twice. Another employee just starts sweeping the floor directly next to me (so close they were almost bumping into my table) while I'm eating. Waitress definitely was not friendly at all. I just hurried up and finished eating so I could leave. Once again I'm sitting, waiting quite some time for someone to come over to give me my check. I was about ready to walk out and leave. I wouldn't ever leave without paying, but they wouldn't have even noticed if you walked out that door. Waitress finally comes over to take my card, she came back to give me the receipt and said "thank you" in a very snobby voice and walked off. So, me already very angry, I wrote on the receipt "Thanks for the awful service as always!" Maybe I shouldn't have done that. Maybe it was wrong. But maybe you should treat people that come into your business like they matter. I just moved here a few months ago and it seems like if you're not a local or a regular, then you'd be better off not stepping foot in there. This is something I've noticed the few times I've been in. But then after all of that, it gets REALLY weird....
I'm on my way home and I get a friend request from someone on Facebook and by the time I got home to check it, it said the request was cancelled. When I clicked to see who it was, it was the WAITRESS from the restaurant. The profile said "waitress at Coyotes Nixa". I couldn't think of how they possibly were able to look me up, until I realized that she got my name off of the receipt! So she decides to find me on Facebook and STALK my profile. That's just creepy and should be considered harassment. So I will NEVER step foot in this so called business again. After reading the other 1 star reviews on Google, I'm glad to know it's not just me having the problem of trying to get served (IN A RESTAURANT!) And they could obviously care less considering they don't respond to any of these reviews. Like, how hard is it to be friendly? They may see this review, they may not. If they do, they'll probably laugh about it for days. But I truly hope they get a kick out of it, knowing that I won't be back. Anyway, thanks for the experience and again "thanks for the...
Read moreArrived well after usual lunch hours and they aren’t too busy. Got seated and served drinks by hostess right away but had to wait -5 minutes for a server - we asked the hostess who said she’d “try” to find us a server. Server finally showed - no apology for the wait. Took our order - menu in restaurant is different than the menu posted on their website. I had the chicken cordon blue pasta. Pasta was way over cooked, sauce was under seasoned. Might have been some small bits of sliced ham but hard to find. Small pieces of cut of fried chicken breast, also a minimal amount. “Garlic bread” was just a hoagie roll with some melted butter with a slight garlic taste on the top of the roll. Was not hot or split and toasted or anything.
Spouse got “chicken fingers” which were in reality 3 full flattened fried chicken breasts - clearly food service prepackaged items just thrown into a deep fryer. Since they were flattened the breading to meat ratio was poor.
Drinks are highly overpriced for soft drinks - standard restaurant size glasses were $3.50.
When the waiter checked on us - only once and never offered refills - we said the food was okay but not the quality we expected. He then comped our drinks - and after returning our card said if we wanted better food the next time we came we should order the prime rib .- the most expensive thing on the menu.
I realize this is basically a sports bar and maybe they assume everyone has had enough beer that they wouldn’t koto wvthe low quality of the food, or maybe their burgers are better - I just don’t...
Read moreTonight will be the last time I will ever come back. My fiancé ordered a Buffalo chicken salad crispy. Our food came out and the waitress brought a salmon salad instead and we didn’t realize it was wrong until it was already being ate. Another waitress came out and told us that it was going to be remade and fixed and was going to be a crispy Buffalo chicken salad. So then following that our original waitress comes out and tells us that she just got yelled at but it’s coming. So at this point we have been there for an hour an hour 15 min waiting on this salad to be brought and our waitress comes back out and tells me that the cook was not going to make the salad because she said it was her fault so then proceeded to ask us if there was something different he wanted. Which makes no sense to me. I was frustrated and told her I’m speaking to someone else other than her that could actually tel me what was going on so I went and spoke to the bartender which said that it sounded like the cook and waitress got into a tiff since the waitress was rude about the situation and so she went back and talked to the cook and it finally was made but it was a grilled chicken salad instead of crispy. Sounds like you guys need to find a different cook/waitress because I have never been flat out told that the cook said she’s not cooking your food! Thats unacceptable in my opinion and it also looks like others have had bad experiences at this...
