Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Noblesville

Applebees used the be the spot to go for a nice dinner. I remember why I don’t go out of my way to eat or spend money here. The last few times I’ve regrettably and reluctantly received gift cards from family that don’t realize how bad Applebees has become. My husband and I went here today, 5/2/25 and had a terrible experience but we were too nice I guess to make a fuss and we had a long day ahead of us with a lot of errands so we really just wanted to eat and use up the gift card while in town and get out. The waitress every 5 seconds kept coming back to the table and asking if we were ready yet, and every time I told her we needed more time, she’d come back just seconds later. My soda was very flat and watered down. The food was underwhelming and portions of fries were tiny. The seasoning they used for the fries was sickeningly salty and had I known about it I would’ve asked for no seasoning. At the end of our meal, the waitress accidentally flung a nasty piece of old food OFF OFF HER FINGERS onto my husband’s glasses and hair. All she did was laugh, shrug and say sorry. First off, why is she walking around with food on her hands while working In food service and she also at the same time brought me a to-go cup?! So gross. Will never be back to dine-in, we have a small balance on the gift card and will use that up given it was a gift but after that we are done. I’m so glad we didn’t drop $40 of our own money out of pocket at least! Ridiculous. I’ve been horribly sick with intestinal issues as well since returning home a few hours later and Applebees has been the only place we ate today! Not happy. Tables were filthy, menus were caked with again old food and crusted debris, dead flies and gnats on the window sills, floors were covered in grime and weren’t...

We had a very unfortunate experience here tonight. We generally have enjoyed our meals here and the service has always been great. Tonight we ordered and everything was going fine. We asked for steak sauce for our steaks, on the way to the table the waiter dropped it and it bounced off our table into our 18 month olds face. This was not the issue. Accidents happen, he was fine and kept eating his dinner, despite being covered head to toe in A1🤣

The manager came and checked in and we said we were fine, but obviously looking at our child he was a mess.

When I say we were the nicest people in this situation. We didn't fuss, we didn't complain, we just took care of it.

Maybe we were wrong in expecting something in return. Literally a 10% discount or taking off 1 kids meal would have made such an impact.

Instead we walked out paying a full bill while everyone watched us strip our son to his diaper so he wouldn't get A1 all over the car.

It's disappointing to think that if we would have thrown a fit and demanded something, we probably would have gotten it.

But because we were kind, we got nothing.

Customer service is severely lacking.

This review has nothing to do with our waiter as he was wonderful and very apologetic. This has everything to do with management. As a manager I would have done SOMETHING to make it right

Decided APPLEBEE'S 🍎 FOR A LATE BIRTHDAY FOR MY SON..

So I've had a 15 minute wait (due to covid etc half capacity) which is fine.. got a seat (score).. waited 10 minutes before the waiter (male, I said it right 😄 (think his name was john)) got to us (me and my kids).. was listening to him talk about his tip with a customer in front of us (yeah, I appreciate a tip) as the customer walks away... took our order (we was ready to eat and had already knew what we wanted.. he acted as though he wasn't going to get a tip from me and basically was blowing us off.. he assumed I wanted Pepsi but I corrected him with saying mountain dew, then rushed off after we got our food even though we didn't get our drinks until about 30 seconds before our food arrived.. didn't get ketchup for the kids fries or cheeseburger 😕.. food overall was good.. just wished the waiter actually acted like he wanted to be here and take care of us... he said he's been working there for 4 years now... manager came by and checked on us and asked if everything was okay and if he could get us anything....

Never got the refills etc.. only thing was good was the food and...
