One of the items in our order was a regular size garlic cheesy bread… Immediately after ordering the bread, they forgot to make it. After reminding them to make the garlic bread, we waited at our table at least 8-10 min without receiving our garlic bread - we had finished our main dishes at this point. When the bread never showed up, my husband went to the counter where the workers (5 employees just standing and talking) obviously had forgotten the garlic bread on the conveyer over. When one of them went to grab the bread, his glove fell on the floor. He proceeded to pick his dirty glove up, put it on, and grabbed the bread to box it up. At that point, my husband asked them to remake the garlic bread. So, they make the bread, we waited another 10 minutes without receiving it, then we saw one of the employees take the garlic bread to a different table! They brought the garlic bread back up front and then the employee brought it to us without offering to remake it again after this other table had already grabbed it. Absolutely ridiculous.
Some other things to note: Employees blowing their gloves to be able to put their hand into it. Keep in mind, the glove was not close to his face, so he was essentially blowing germs all over the glove. Not that anyone should be blowing into their glove to open it anyways… Delivery drivers vaping/smoking in the car with food in it.
Unfortunate, because the food was fine, but the lack of hygiene/good customer service is why we will...
Read moreJimmy John’s who?? I tell ya what, my first time in and I was not disappointed! I appreciate that they have options for gluten free people. (Lettuce wraps, and gf pizza crusts)
We both ordered a signature sandwich in a lettuce wrap (note, while there is an up charge for that it was a nice alternative for both of us).
I ordered the Italian club and my husband ordered the cafe club. The meats and cheese are prepared hot, and you can build your sammy as it comes or you can add additional toppings. I added banana peppers to my sammy and my husband added black olives to his. Both sammies were delicious and hit the spot without leaving us over stuffed.
The staff were very friendly and helpful for us first timers. Very professional and knowledgeable. Odd side note, the manager on duty didn’t seem very friendly, at one point he was in front of us and never even said hello. Perhaps I’m being nit picky but historically a manager on duty typically acknowledges a guest in front of them.
The dining room was clean and comfortable, I would have preferred the air not be as high but that’s nothing that would keep me from coming back for a lunch.
I would say the price point was fair, 2 sammies on lettuce wraps with additional toppings, a pickle, a soda and 2 chips totaled out to be $30. While it breaks down to a $15 price point per person, the up charges for lettuce wraps and additional toppings won’t always be the case for other diners.
All in all we...
Read morePass this place every time I go to Costco and decided to finally try it today. While I left a one star review I will preface this with the service was very good as well as the “Smokehouse Stack” sandwich I had. What really gets to the core of the one star review is that I ordered a cookie. When the cashier opened the plastic display containing the cookies and pulled one out for me, she disturbed what had to have been 10 baby flies/gnats that had taken up residence inside the cookie display on the cookies themselves. This is absolutely disgusting, and I’m pretty sure the employee noticed them as well despite nothing being said by either of us. I would normally have said something but there was a line and I didn’t want to draw attention. Hopefully my review will draw attention to the matter. The cookie was thrown away. Also, holy smokes this place is spendy for what it is. Every bit of a $20 bill for this meal. I could’ve had a steak dinner at any chain steakhouse for that much. And really??? The name is pickleman’s and you’re not giving a pickle with each sandwich? $1.50 extra for a half a pickle. I really only wanted a quarter of a pickle for free but ok I’ll buy a half of one...
