This was my first and last time at this salon.

I went in and asked if they did Gel Builder - they said yes. I have long natural nails and already had gel builder on them. The nail tech did not ask before he took the nail clippers and completely cut off my natural nails down to the bed. Techs usually ask if I want them shorter or trim a little to soak off the previous gel easier but he did not, instead just chopping them off. He then pulled out a box of acrylic tips, to which I confirmed that he did not plan to put tips on. He said he has to put tips on, and I shared that I did NOT want tips as my natural nails were already long before. I was confused at this point.

He began to act condescendingly, gaslighting me that I had tips on already (I have been growing these nails out for a literal year, getting gel builder every few weeks, and I have not had tips on in YEARS. He tried to use a tip to break the previous "tips" off to prep the nail and could not because they were NOT TIPS). He also proceeded repeatedly to tell me that gel builder is not possible on natural nails but I have had it done at a number of salons over the last year.

He made me feel very small and it was a very upsetting, frustrating experience. I ended up just asking to pay and leave without any polish or manicure because the whole experience was so upsetting. I lost the complete length of my nails for no reason and wasted time out of my day...

I called in early asking for their earliest availability since I got a job in KY same day and had to make the drive later on. They told me to come in immediately saying they can get me in, so I did. I got a pedicure and a fill-in. The pedicure I got done quickly, when it was time for my fill-in, I had to wait 40min for my turn. Apparently only one person that works there can do acrylics. When he finally got to me I only had half hour to get it done. He said he will get it done in time. I even told them to not paint them if there's no time. They were rude, spoke Vietnamese, the man working on my nails called my last set "ugly" and whoever did it last didn't do a good job in Vietnamese. My friend is in nail school and she had practiced on me. What they don't know is I also speak fluent Vietnamese so I understood all their conversations. There was a customer that had an oxygen tank and they were calling her toes ugly as well. They will pretend to be nice but they're not. The man did my nails so fast I already ended up with two...

I heard such good things about this place, so i went to try them out. The tech was too aggressive for my fingers. My nail beds are extremely sensitive to the UV light which I wanted basic polish but then caved to do gel because of the promise of lasting up to 3 weeks. The shape and color were very nice and pretty. I had to pull my hand out a few times from my nails burning and he would get really fussy and scold me. Anyway, the gel lasted 1 week max and then popped off. And my nails were lifting/Tearing off my fingers because I actually did burn them by not letting them sit out to cool, before putting under the lamp again. I won't ever see a male nail tech again after being treated this way and I had a hard time standing up for myself because he refused to listen to my concerns. Yes, I even tipped afterwards but I was not happy and they barely lasted 7 days despite all the UV cure I did. 3 stars for the nice...
