This gym is okay. It’s brand spanking new so the equipment is in tiptop shape and clean. I opted for the basic membership, but Crunch seems to have a lot to offer with its other membership tiers. With that said, it would be an even better gym if not for just a couple of issues. It’s incredibly difficult to find parking which isn’t in BFE, and I typically go between noon and 2:00pm to “avoid the crowd.” I cannot imagine what this place is like during peak hours. As previously mentioned, I try to go during non-peak hours because thankfully, my schedule allows for it, and yet, it’s still fairly busy. Most of the machines and benches are still claimed during that time. I’m satisfied just using the treadmills and the area tucked away in the back with free weights for most of my workouts, but it would be nice to have the other options available because sometimes I actually do feel like using them. Overall, there doesn’t truly seem to be a sensible non-busy time to visit this gym because I figured midday would be it. Maybe visiting before 7:00am and after 7:00pm is best? I’ll probably never know because those times just don’t work for me. I think there may simply be too many members. Unfortunately, this is the downside of a budget-friendly facility. Anyone and everyone can go, and they do. I’m glad people are excited to workout, but come on, this is getting kind of ridiculous. Good luck to anyone who goes before noon or after 2:00pm. Maybe it’ll improve once school starts back up..? Noblesville needs another Crunch location stat! I hope another opens up nearby within the next couple of years because overall, I like the gym, just not the crowds. Fingers crossed. P.S. The body scans are a nice touch.
Update: I went to Crunch today, Thursday, around 1:30pm. To my surprise, it wasn’t nearly as busy as other days I’ve gone. Not sure what that’s about. Guess it just depends on the day, but I doubt it’s consistent. May the odds be...
Read moreTried this gym out with a trial and was meh on it due to the cleanliness of the women’s locker room when I was most commonly there (late night) not being great and the crowded conditions almost all times of the day when I visited (I tried various times). I put it on my maybe list, and moved on to researching other gyms. Received an unsolicited email asking me to try them again for 48 hrs and its was a shit show when I tried to redeem it. The front desk clerk Samuel acted like he had never heard of such a thing (came from the GM) and said he would give me 24 hrs instead like I was begging for something they hadn’t offered!!! I told him that was not consistent with the email and he read it again then agreed to the terms listed. He was not friendly about it. Went to sign in and of course I was an expired guest pass. He then decided he was just going to extend 24 hrs agin. I told him look yall contacted me- and don’t ever again the walked out. Was out in the parking lot and called in to ask for the GM name and next scheduled in time. Person who answered literally said “uh” like he wasn’t sure of the answer. Hung up after he told me. Then as I’m driving down the street an aggressive man called me an id himself as the assistant GM on duty. He never made it clear why he was calling because I didnt ask him to but said he heard there was an “upset” how insulting. I’m sure he meant miscommunication right? Because I just left after the energy I received. In any case I told him if he was wasting my time AGAIN with Crunch just making stuff up he could just disconnect. I had an email it’s not rocket science. It’s written down. Anyway I would never join a gym that from jump makes up billing policy. Theyre done for me and anyone I talk to about my experience. Congrats what was meant to make a sale repelled me forever. Great work Crunch...
Read moreThis business was misleading and has charged for services not received. They are also being misleading to visa and chase when I filed a dispute giving them inaccurate information to reverse my charge back. The story is: my partner called in to cancel both their membership (I was paying for) and personal training primarily due to poor customer service and massive overcrowding. When we went in person to cancel, as requested, they only gave one form to cancel the membership but did not mention anything about another form needing to be filled out to also cancel personal training services (which can't even be accessed without being a gym member). After the day of cancelation, I was continuing to receive biweekly charges. We called Crunch on multiple occasions to address this issue and they always had some sort of excuse like "the manager is out of town" or "no one is here right now to help." After being fed up we finally came back in and they said that there is another form we needed to fill out - this was months later. Again, we were never informed about a second form after many calls and the original in-person cancelation meeting, probably so they could continue to take my money. We ended up signing the second form and Chase was able to reverse the charges (~$450) and we thought we were finally done with this horrible company. Fast forward a few months later, we saw that Crunch was trying to dispute MY DISPUTE! Something seriously needs to be done about this company due to their unethical and sneaky business practices, absent management, and completely unprofessional staff. I would leave a 0 star review if I could...
