I have no idea how this place has a 4.7 rating. Honestly, it has to be one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life.
So there I am, cruising down the road, when I spot this place. Iām a sucker for Mediterranean food, so naturally I check the reviews. 4.7?! Okay, maybe I just stumbled upon a hidden gem. Spoiler alert: I didnāt.
I walk in, and first red flagāa paper menu. Not a digital board, not something fancy, nope⦠a piece of paper like itās a middle school fundraiser. Everything is ridiculously overpriced. I try building a salad and it comes out to $25. For lettuce. LETTUCE. Who on earth is paying $25 for a salad? Not me.
So I settle on the lamb gyro. I ask for a simple cup of water, they hand me my number, I sit down, food comes⦠no water. The cashier was nice, but honestly, she looked like she had seen some things.
Now, letās talk about the food. First bite? Immediate disappointment. Not authenticālike, at all. They served it with chips. CHIPS?! š© Since when is that a thing in Mediterranean cuisine? Thatās basically culinary identity theft. The cucumber salad was the only thing worth eating. The lamb? Yeah⦠letās just say it wasnāt ālambing.ā
To top it all off, as Iām trying to choke down my overpriced, inauthentic gyro, a baby starts screaming. And screaming. And screaming. Look, I get itābabies cry, but this one was auditioning for Americaās Got Talent: Siren Edition. At that point, I just left my food and walked out.
Final verdict? This place is Mediterranean cosplay at best. Nothing about it is real, authentic, or worth the price. Will I ever come back?...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visited Taziki's in Nolensville. The young lady Carol was absolutely wonderful! Began with her welcoming greeting, taking my order and even offering additional assistance as my hands were full. During the course of my meal her interacting with patrons was genuine and such a lovely experience. She exemplifies fantastic customer care and service! When I finished I searched for a trash can and another typing lady was quick to recognize what I was doing and she politely said she's happy to take my things...I didn't feel right not cleaning up after myself. She explained they are there for service to the customer and for us to have a pleasant day. I'm sorry I didn't get her name as well. Both young ladies visited our table inquiring if there was anything we needed. My friend and I were in awe of the entire experience at the Nolensville location highly due to your employees especially Carol and the other young lady. They both exceeded expectations and our 1st trip into Taziki's was a wonderful experience. I plan on being a frequent visitor and eager to take more friends to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time here. Friends recommended knowing it had GF and DF options. The staff was very patient, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My husband is the stereotypical meat and potatoes or burger kinda guy. He followed my lead and we ordered the build your own. Iām bummed i forgot to grab pictures of the food. I got the steak with the Mediterranean salad and rice (rice does have butter). My husband got the chicken skewers with a salad and potatoes. Chicken and steak were very tender. Making a tough decision next time on which to get. Our friends got the pesto chicken pita. I was so impressed I sent a text to my DF and GF daughter recommending the chain. We ate outside. You leave your dishes on the table when youāre done. The thought is itās their home and they donāt want you doing the dishes or cleaning up. My husband said we definitely...
