This place is unassumingly charming: it has a modern, rustic appeal with plenty of big screens all around but feels like you’re in an upscale restaurant less any stuffiness. People are talking, laughing, and enjoying their time. I loved the lighting and design of the entire restaurant. I’m really surprised by the reviews about the cost, the portions are huge and we are big eaters. We ordered the fried green beans. The batter was perfect, crispy, tasty, and great with the dips. The artichoke dip was fantastic- that- we wish we had more of. It’s served with a puffy semi crispy pita & tortilla chips. We ordered a chicken Caesar salad for the table to share and there was plenty to go around (4 people). It was one of the best Caesar salads (my favorite kind) so I don’t easily give this nod! 🙌🏽 I ordered the roasted lemon butter herb chicken with capers and it was sooooooooo good. It was $22 and somewhere else ehhhh hmmm starts with an F and ends ings... would have easily been a. $60 plate. My husband ordered the ribs which was supple! He was very happy and he actually makes ribs frequently and is a chef and this surpassed his palate and presentation expectations. My daughter had a cream linguine with chicken which she thoroughly enjoyed and my other daughter enjoyed a burger made to her requests. Our waitress, Mariah was a doll and so attentive and courteous. The energy of everyone in this restaurant was awesome. They smiled, they worked hard. I could tell the chef took great pride because the presentation of each plate was outstanding. So this restaurant is located in an interesting spot with fields likely used for soccer and other events, well manicured. It’s a great spot for a banquet or company luncheon or big family dinner. We will definitely be back. I have nothing negative to say- everything in and out was thoughtful and thorough. I can’t wait to come back when it’s summer time, especially- they have outdoor heaters, string lights and just massive green fields, which is a beautiful sight. The food is worth every penny: plated with great presentation, wonderful flavor, and care through and...
Read moreWell, where do I begin! I was there with my kids and husband for Mother’s Day brunch. We made reservations for 8:30 am because it was the I only time available. I checked their reviews on several apps and on their Instagram page and everything appeared good. As a matter of fact, they advertised their Mother’s Day brunch having a delicious menu that included roasted turkey and tri tip, freshly made deserts and pastries and many things.
It was very cold with outside seating and no heaters. All food was cold and I mean cold eggs, bacon, sausages and the pastries were cheaper than what you find at a dollar tree stores. No roasted turkey or tri tip or many of the things advertised. No drinks were included in the price and even though it was supposed to be all you can eat, when we got up to get desert I was questioned why I needed a new plate. Food was being counted to the bare minimum by the servers. Oh and let me not forget to mention upon paying $138 dollars for this we were supposed to get some wristbands that we didn’t get. We were questioned about them and had to show the receipt to three different people until we finally got the forsaken wristbands.
Needless to say, I will never return to this place because in my 54 years of life it is by far the worse...
Read moreI have to be honest, I was not sure that I would like this place. We went specifically for happy hour. Happy hour is 4-6pm and includes well drinks, $5, and draft beer as well as a small number of appetizers. We ordered the happy hour spinach dip and were pleasantly surprised, one of the best spinach dips I have had in a while, plenty of cheese, not too greasy and enough chips. Meals range from approximately $12 to $26, kids meals are $8. My children had the cheese pizza and the macaroni and cheese, but excellent, prepared in house and worth taking home to finish. I had the flat iron steak with green beans and fries, cooked perfectly med rare, highly usual, and very tasty. My husband had the bacon cheeseburger, also very good, full of flavor, much better then anticipated. We each also had 2 margaritas on happy hour, $5 each, the basic rocks margarita comes with tajine edge. The restaurant was not crowded, nice tables and chairs and as well as some booth seating. The bar area is highly appealing, very modern in look. The overall restaurant is a bit small and the main seating area could be crowded if full, but overall a very excellent experience and will...
