The place turned out to be a great surprise but quickly turned into a disaster. We had told our cashier that we were wanting to get food that was no onion, no garlic, and she was very receptive towards helping us and furthermore, she assured us that they could make food that was appropriate for kids. We were wanting to exchange a few items on our thali and we were willing to pay also for the exchanges. She just went on and on about how the charges of the items were different and how that was not possible so therefore we were OK with that and understood what she was saying. But the Experience went downhill super fast when we got our food the tindora shak had gone bad. When I was taking our tray to the table, I could smell something really bad, but was not able to isolate what the smell was. Upon sitting, we figured out it was the tindora. We had gone earlier in the day therefore it was obvious that the shak was premade days in advance or they practice very bad temperature regulation of food. The biggest shame is the cashier knew we were getting the food for our kids and should have known better not to give young people food like that. I'm glad we were able to figure out that the food had gone bad before feeding it to our kids. This place definitely has the mentality of making mass amounts of food, freezing it and probably giving it to people days after it is made or they are really bad at maintaining good food standards. There are plenty of other places in Atlanta that provide fresh Indian food. They offered free shrikand as a substitute as a replacement for the shak. There is no way I would give my kids a dairy item from this place after that incident. It's a shame to see such low quality gujarati food being served.

I recently visited Mumbai Masala at Global Mall in Norcross, expecting a good dining experience, but was met with severe disappointment. I ordered three items: papdi chaat, ragada samosa, and chhole bhature. Unfortunately, it took a frustrating 45 minutes for my order to arrive, despite the lady at the counter assuring me every few minutes that it would only be “5 more minutes.” This repeated delay was incredibly frustrating and showed a lack of respect for customers’ time. When the food finally arrived, it was far from satisfactory. The bhatura was drenched in oil to the extent that each bite tasted overwhelmingly of grease. The samosa, which I had looked forward to, was unexpectedly hard and burnt, making it difficult to enjoy. Given the long wait and the quality of the food, this experience was deeply disappointing. I had hoped for a pleasant meal, but instead, I left feeling that my time and expectations were both disregarded. It’s a shame, as I had high hopes for this restaurant, but the poor service and subpar food have made it unlikely that I’ll return.

Amazing food! Got the veg thaali and dahi wada! The best veg thaali I've had in Atlanta! They give you option to pick curry that was the best thing otherwise in all the other places they only have paneer masala curry for thaali. The price is also reasonable and great service. Would go again!

I wish i could do 0 stars. NEVER BUY THEIR DRINKS. I HOPE THE OWNER SEES THIS AND TAKES AN ACTION. I WISH I COULD REPORT THIS TO CORPORATE AND HAVE THE STORE SHUT DOWN. Friday April 30, 2023 between 3.45-4.40 pm, 3 ladies ahead of me ordered 3 faludaas, they did not like it so they returned all 3 cups (WHICH HAD THEIR STRAWS IN THE CUP). Instead of discarding the contaminated faludaas, the lady employee threw all the 3 straws out and put the cups in the cooler to resell it. Please don’t ever buy their drinks. It’s so disgusting. Someone drank out of those faluda cups, and she has the audacity to put it back in the cooler to resell it. I love the food, but I’m never coming back and I’ll make sure to share this with everyone. If you’re reading, you don’t know what you’re consuming when you walk into this store. My food was delicious but when i saw this happen, i have been traumatized. It’s so unhealthy and...
