On 10/30 around 1045am we were waiting to be seated and was told once the booth is cleaned we can be seated. Then a family of Four came in after us, mind you we had already been waiting. A Waffle House employee (Latino or Black female or male) proceeded to tell another staff that She/He rather seat the family that came in after us in the booth. We eat at this location all the time on the weekends and the staff there is always kind. This had to be a new person at this location we have never seen this person and we come just about every Saturday or Sunday. So what we had a problem with this particular staff told another staff OUTLOUD that She/He did not want to seat us in that location because it was 2 of us. First of all Waffle House is a place where you have a choice where you want to be seated. Secondly we were there first. Third good customer service the staff should have asked us DO WE MIND sitting somewhere else and let the family that came behind us sit in the booth (we would have more than likely changed). Instead the staff was RUDE to us and just going to take it upon herself/himself and tell the other staff we should not be seated there because we were a party of 2 and they were a party of 4. We were there first and they were cleaning the table for us and the family of four walked in. We NEVER have had any issues at that location until today. I did not get the staff name but we ended up leaving because we were not comfortable with that person being our waitress. Then top it off had the nerve to say OUTLOUD.. I was fighting for y’all to the other family that came in behind us. I have called but no one answer. Read moreI ordered the All star meal and the cook, Patrick, made my hashbrowns over cooked to the point that they were hard as a brick, literally. I politely went back and requested the order to be remade. They have a policy were the food has to be remade by the manager. The manager, Omni, gave me the remade food and didn't put the sausage in my order making me have to go back and request my money back in exchange for order that was not made correctly. The manager left the store after remaking making my order. When I came back to the store the manager was called because I asked for a refund. She stated she had just left and she was giving me the option to either call corporate or to come back the next day to get the food remade because she was the only one who could process it on the same day. For some odd reason it couldn't be remade then because she wasn't in the building also. The hashbrowns were visibly burnt and overcooked and she didn't add my sausages that I paid for. It seemed like they deliberately tried to make my experience an inconvenience. I'm a paying customer who also tipped. I called corporate who are closed on the weekends. This happened on today Friday.
