Wow! Where do I start! I’ve been noticing the signs of this new location, seeing all the hard work over the last few months and so excited that I was able to make it today. Totally exceeded all expectations! FLAVORTOWN! Guy Fieri!!! Where u at?!?! I met Mrs. Blaque C, herself, we talked for a good 20 minutes, and my dish was still piping hot!!!! I’ve seen a lot of Chefs, been around the world and I’m so over the term “Chef” being thrown around… BUT HERE!?!? The Handsome Chef made several appearances to ensure quality control of the dish served. Kiyayana and Keke? The dynamic duo! I was warmly greeted outside as I was glancing across the street, learning about the history of Blaque C, the community enrichment and service, much gratitude evolves. Everything is cooked fresh, Al dente, no microwave, extremely high scores on presentation and flavor, all around party in the mouth!! The flavor and seasonings were evenly distributed like a work of art. There is so much space inside, one could have a lot of friends. Too bad I don’t have a lot of friends, but with Blaque C, I have a community and some good-hearted soul friends. The price is more than reasonable, the service is Top Notch, and it’s cooler inside than the ice cream shop, and it’s a hot day, so the coolness brings calmness and serenity. The laughter and comradely of the staff makes this unique establishment even more the classy. I love to see when staff members communicate and talk amongst each other, it brings out the best in customer service. Lastly, for this visit, the restaurant is clean and organized. I do quite a bit of walking, peeking in windows of restaurants and deeming them likely or unlikely; however, here is a very tidy spot with a fresh smell and beautiful antique decor. The positivity is endless here. I highly recommend this place for a gathering, foodie reviews, and one more reason to visit a Beautiful Norfolk.. with some pretty big shoes to fill, I truly believe this place will make a name and leave plenty of room for expansion. Good business is hard to find these days. Today, I found that good business and a reason to come back again and again....

Excellent Service combined with Beautiful Smiles. The Fish was so delectable, flaky, crispy, goodness just the right lather of the freshest oil of the Gods… the Fries… crispy on the outside, tender on the inside… AMAZING! The Egg rolls… the egg rolls… the wraps…. The soda pop… THE ICE WAS AMAZING!!!! This was all blessed with clean hands and love!
