I do not recommend China Inn! In fact, I strongly urge all those who read this to avoid this establishment until improvements are made. I work near by and decided to give China Inn a try today for lunch. There was no A/C and paving was being conducted in the parking lot; therefore, it was dangerously hot inside and challenging to breath given the fumes. It was also quite dirty with dead insects scattered about the window seals. One of the staff members had left several open containers of soy sauce out on a table unattended as well. Clearly these were intended to be packaged and included with customer orders. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt so I ordered anyway. After waiting for quite a while I received my avacado and sweet potato rolls, 12 pieces in all. When I asked for Soy sauce she gave me two of the tiny packs. I politely asked for a bit more at which time she handed me two more of the very tiny little packets. Each pack contains around, or a little less than a teaspoon? I said thank you and asked if she had little cups full and she said no even though they were openly displayed on the table to my left. I then politely asked if I could get additional packets as is standard with any sushi order. I was shocked and confused when she simply turned around and rudely walked away, clearly angry that I had asked. The customer beside me was also quite taken aback. I was always very kind to her with a smile and never acted with disrespect. Given the pandemic and other challenges restaurants face I rarely speak ill of them, even when they come up short but this was egregious to the point that I felt it was my duty to share my experience. I waited to write this review until after I tried the food. I would have added that despite my horrific experience that the food was acceptable but I'm not surprised to say that this is not the case. The rice was very overcooked and the avocado was on the verge of going bad. I hope that this restaurant owner has the opportunity to read this and improve conditions in the establishment for the sake of the employees and the...
Read moreAlittle back story, this restaurant and the owners have been there since I was in middle school (1992).. It could be earlier. Before I went into the Army I worked in a video store next door to the restaurant. Today the Restuarant is one of the only 5 business that's stayed open in that shopping center... Including a Chinese buffet that has now turned into a Sushi King.. 3 deployments, 3 kids, 1 marriage, 2 Army Veterans (me and wife) and 15 years later I moved back and I must say.. I am glad I did. With every business you're going to see nasty customers complaining about SOMETHING if not ANYTHING that mostlikley they didn't need to complain about.. If this Restuarant was as bad as the people that gave them 1 or 2⭐'s said it was.. Then they wouldn't still be in business right now.. With that being said, I love the food (especially the shrimp Pancit) and I personally think the owners are good people. Thank you for your time and...
Read moreWe have been ordering from China Inn for many years but I must say after this past Saturday we will never do business with them again. We ordered several items by way of delivery. Most of the time we pick it up but I digress. So 1/3 of the items had what appeared to be hard pieces of something we didnt recognize as well as uncooked pieces of meat. We called to let them know the other two items were fine besides the one I just spoke of. A woman answered and stated she would get the manager and so she did and when he came to the phone we told him of what happens and he assured us he would have the delivery driver bring us a new order and to just returned the bad one. We hung up thinking all was well except 1 minute later the manager calls us back saying there was nothing he could do and he changed his mind about rectifying this situation. NEEDLESS TO SAY! This is poor service and they have lost longtime customers...
