The years have not been kind to Gamestop. The shelves were bare, prices were high and selection was limited. Walking in I was more than greeted with a general hello. I was approached with asking if I would like to sell my phone or trade in unused electronics. Then they asked if I wanted to sign up for a power up rewards program. They were following me around asking if I wanted to pre-order games or the next consoles. I ended up just leaving without purchasing anything. I understand it wasn't the employees fault on how pushy they were. Definitely corporate. Back in the day, the employees were always trying to get you the best deal. The environment was inviting and you were willing to spend more time browsing just to find that gem of a game. That store is gone. With digital stores and the field of physical media dying, this store isn't going to make it...

Asked the larger man with a beard and glasses if he could test it out as the disc drive didn't work (another location informed me of how to fix) and he didn't even bother to ask me why I brought it in after me asking for him to test it out and just said it was against policy to touch my system without me selling it to him. My intentions were to have it to have it tested, evaluated, and see how much trade in value it would be. He asked no questions and seemed extremely bothered by me simply being there. Other locations have tested the console and asked me what I wanted to do with it. Never before has someone said they won't touch my console and spurt off about policy without asking any questions at all. I will not return to this and advise others to avoid...
