No 1 Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Norfolk

Wow I I would never recommend this place to anybody based on how I was just treated. I cannot base it off of how the food is because I couldn't even get that far. I called to order and after the order he said how do you want to pay and I said by credit card and he said he wanted me to pay cash because they were so busy. I said well I guess I'll have to go somewhere else because that's what I have so he said well hurry hurry I'm busy give me the numbers. I then asked him how much it was and he said almost $10 more than what it was supposed to be so then he says another amount which is what it was supposed to be in the first place after I questioned it and he sighed. I then gave him my card information and then he said if he has time to run it in 30 minutes then I'll get the food and if not then I won't and proceeded to hang up on me. So, I decided to call back and tell him to cancel it based on how rude he was to me and he said fine that he didn't care.. I told him based on how you treat people you won't get business and you certainly will never get business from me and he proceeded to say yeah whatever shut up and hung up on me! My mouth flew open! I am very polite, very easy to deal with, spend a lot of money and tip very well and if I owned a business I would think I would not want to treat...

This was my first time ordering from this establishment, and I love to experience other cultural food, but this right here was one of the nastiest most disgusting food I ever taste The fried chicken was hard as hell. The shrimp and broccoli was slimy. Everything we ordered was slimy. I pacifically put in certain order and didn’t receive exactly what I ordered. The portion was smaller than what I ordered. My order came up to over 80 dollars because I ordered for seven people. my family was not enthused about it, and these are individuals that I work with, and they didn’t even like the food and that has to tell you something for those who understand people who has autism or any type of mental intellectual disability knows that one of there favorite thing to do is to eat and when they turn food down, you know it’s nasty so this place right here will never receive our business ever again. Awful.... This food honestly had me questioning if I had contracted Covid. Most of the selections were tasteless and even the General Tso Chicken had everyone questioning what it was supposed to be.

The lo mein was dry and what taste there was brought us to the conclusion that it was hours old. The Szechuan beef had a sweet taste and was more like beef & broccoli - at least it had a taste... approached two stars.

It took almost 55 minutes for delivery. The food was decently warm and well packed. The soy sauce and duck sauce included was sparse but we made it work.

No fortune cookies, no chopsticks or napkins.

This was not worth the $70 price tag... Or any price tag honestly. Don't waste your...
