I would have given a zero if given the option. I place my order at the drive-thru. There was nobody in front of me, and only one vehicle pulled up in the carport area. As far as I can see, nobody was inside, and it is an open storefront. I watched cars come and go for 25 minutes, before I went inside. I had to stand inside for at least 5 minutes before anybody even acknowledged me, & trust me, I did not look like a patiently waiting customer. In fact, it took for the manager to holler out, "what's up with the taxi sitting outside so long for?", for me to get a chance to speak. I answered back, from the dining area, to the back of their kitchen, that I was the taxi, & that I'd been waiting 28 minutes at that point for 2 milkshakes. He called out what was supposed to be my order, & I corrected him, because one of the shakes he said wasn't even remotely close to being correct. He made the 2 shakes, & brought them to me, & guess what...? It was still wrong. He went back & made the correct shake, after I had to change my order because they don't make chocolate chip anymore. You think I would have been told that the first TWO times I ordered. I was not offered an apology or anything. He didn't even say, "have a nice night", or anything. If I would have screwed up that badly with one of my customers at my job (taxi driver), I would have given my customers their service for free, with very sincere apologies. Customer service is really a thing of the past anymore. I was extremely disappointed with the service I received. I mean really, not even an apology for forgetting that you took my money, & left me out in the cold for almost 30 minutes. The total time it took 38 minutes, & the store was not even busy when I arrived. I wish I would have taken a picture of the "ensure customer satisfaction" recommendation posters that were posted right out in the open, that every employee there could not help but to see it. Nobody there clearly had not read it, or quite frankly cared. I sincerely believe it was the latter of the two. I still can't believe it... Not even one ounce of remorse. The whole "oh well" attitude about it just kills me. Not even an...

I understand this day and age everyone is understaffed, but in this case they were not. When I got to the window to pay for my food, he asked me to pull up to a parking spot which was fine. However, I waited in that parking spot for 30 minutes as other cars they were in the drive-through came and left. There was another man parked next to me, waiting for his order as well. We both got out and went into the store to find out what was going on and why other people kept coming and going and we still haven’t gotten our food. When we went inside, there was other people that made online orders they were in there for over an hour. Everyone that was in there was waiting, which was very disappointing and the staff was not apologetic and had no type of customer service skills whatsoever which is bad for business. I never write bad reviews because I’m not that type of person, but this is something that needs to be addressed as far as management goes. Poor management equals poor staff performance. Sadly to say I love sonic, but I most likely will not return and it wasn’t just because of the wait it is simply because the staff does not know how to handle...
