Taco Bell — Restaurant in Norfolk

Ordered the Grilled Cheese 🧀 Beef Burrito 🌯 with extra beef and added Red Sauce and Mexican Pizza Sauce,Tomatoes 🍅 extra Nacho Cheese 🧀 sauce and extra Seasoned Rice . And NO Fiesta Strips. But received it with the Fiesta Strips and what appeared to be no Red Sauce or Mexican Pizza Sauce. I also had ordered 2 Bean Burritos 🌯 with extra beans 🫘 ,extra cheese 🧀, extra Red Sauce and extra Onions 🌰 ( so pretty much extra everything but somehow didn't get extra beans and for some reason instead of extra onions I received no onions. However theybwere nice enough to charge me the charges for the extras to the total of $2.30 x 2 and $5.29 for the Grilled Cheese Beef Burrito 🌯 (of which I didn't recieve the Red Sauce or Pizza Sauce for $0.95 . For a total of $5.55 in unrecieved products. This has happened on a few other occasions with different items . I guess sometimes taking a order and making g it correctly is just a bit much to ask . I really don't see how hard it is for the person to make the order correctly. I worked at a Taco 🌮 Bell 🔔 and even during busy times I never messed up yobthe point were the customer was charged for stuff they didn't recieve. Being honest I have found that this type of mistakes happen alot down here ,I'm from Massachusetts origfinally but didn't seem to have these issues as often back North as I have since moving down here,and it's not just Taco Bell it's alot of the resturaunts and not limited to just fast food . Popeyes being the worst,so much so as I have just stopped visiting that establishment all together and am getting ready to do the same with Taco 🌮 Bell 🔔. I can see it happening from time to time but seriously the frequency it happens is getting to be absurd in my opinion . I will end this review with this. Minus the fact that they didnt add the stuff I wanted for the most part but charged me for it and left stuff in I didn't want I was probably to generous with the rating I gave them . Taco 🌮 Bell 🔔 I was highly disappointed with this last order . I hope others DO NOT HAVE THE SAME...

This Taco Bell (2469 E Little Creek Rd, Norfolk) is a complete disgrace. From the moment we walked in, it was a disaster. Three employees—including someone who looked like the manager—were lounging in the customer seating area, loudly chatting and glued to their phones. Not one of them acknowledged us. No "hello," no "we’ll be with you in a moment"—nothing. Just loud personal conversations echoing across the lobby.

The dining area was filthy. The tables and chairs were so sticky my wife thought she had sat on gum. Disgusting. Since no one seemed remotely interested in doing their jobs, I had to use the kiosk—also sticky and dirty, by the way—to place our order.

I then watched in disbelief as staff snacked and drank soda while handling food orders. Absolutely unsanitary. When our food came out, they gave it to-go even though I had selected dine-in. I stood there for a few moments before having to ask for my cup, clearly showing they weren’t paying attention.

While we tried to eat, an elderly couple walked in. The gentleman asked if anyone was taking orders. The staff ignored him. He had to ask again after standing there nearly 10 minutes. Still, no one bothered to assist them. The sheer lack of customer service was appalling.

To top it all off, there was a small child—clearly related to one of the workers—wandering around the restaurant. I try to be understanding, but a fast-food restaurant during open business hours is not a place for someone’s kid to be hanging out unsupervised.

And if that wasn’t enough, as we left, we saw two men smoking weed in a car in the parking lot—one of them in a Taco Bell uniform. That’s the final straw. The environment was unprofessional, unsanitary, and completely disrespectful.

This location is a disgrace to the brand. I don’t know who’s in charge, but someone needs to clean house—literally and figuratively....

Downgraded from 4 stars. Terrible quality. Food ordered was made sloppily and the tortillas were stale and flaky. There was more lettuce than any other ingredient, making what was essentially a handheld taco salad. Every. Taco. Same. The burritos were dryer than listening to someone read the phonebook because they had no sauce and little cheese. I've had better burritos from the frozen section at the dollar store.

You can do better, Taco Bell. BOOO.

The below review reflects the quality of the store before it was remodeled. Hopefully leaving the original review will light a fire under the regional manager's chair. After it was closed for two months for renovations they reopened with a brand new staff and management. I can only guess this is the case because of the drastic change in food quality. There are now no Taco Bell locations near me that are worth my money. Every location in a ten mile radius of Ocean View is deplorable.

One of the best Taco Bells in Norfolk. Fast service, no wait at the drive thru, and food is always fresh. My orders have been made consistently and correctly every time I've visited this location. I drive out of my way to go to this location instead of others that are...
