Hands down the best restaurant on the OU campus. Everything I've had there has been great, and I've tried quite a bit of the menu. Two favorite items are the breakfast burger and the chicken sandwich on toast with provolone and bacon that they just took off the menu (terrible mistake). But the absolute BEST thing on the menu are the chocolate chip cookies. Soft in the middle, crunchy on the outside, they're the PERFECT cookie. Prices are decent, and the service is usually good. The only thing I don't like is that they get impatient if you're not standing right at the counter when you're food is ready, and so if you're not right there they set it aside BEHIND the counter and you have to wait for an employee to hand you your food. The restaurant has food, but that’s not what matters. What IS of importance is the table that was formerly located between the foosball table and the eastern pool table. This table used to not be just the preferred spot to sit for my friends and I, but a home. However, you may have noticed my use of the word formerly. That is because over the 2019-2020 winter break, this precious table was removed in place of two tall gangly tables that belong in a campfire, in pieces. Decently large menu that gets more appealing as the rest of campus dining gets old. One of the more expensive dining options on campus, but when you have 30 minutes between a class in Nielsen and a class at Devon, you have no other choice. Or when you finish your paper at 4 AM and are starving. Use Tapingo to avoid the lunch rush, but don't expect to find a table to sit at. Oh, and Croads' cheesesteak is better than Cate's.
