Oklahoma Memorial Union Food Court — Restaurant in Norman

This is an iconic building on the University of Oklahoma campus. It was one of the first buildings to be built for OU. This is the equivalent of the student center for other universities. Students can study here at anytime as it is open 24/7. The businesses in this building do close though so make sure you are stocked up for what you need if you are going to be sitting here all night.

The building has a theatre which plays movies every month free to students of OU. Feel free to bring friends and snacks to this too. Just make sure you clean up after yourself. The building has multiple ballrooms for rent. There are many private events held here like weddings, proms, receptions, club events etc. They have a catering wing as well.

Parking is usually an issue to get here. You can park at the structure adjoining but you do have to pay for parking there. The street has parking which is metered and is free after 5pm. You can always find parking if you just drive around Boyd St. There are a couple of churches that you can park at during the week which is about 10mins away by foot.

Very nice place! Great for events like weddings. Has a nice courtyard. The OU Club is in here - now open to the public. Great Baird Lounge for studying and napping, plus a small computer lab in the back. They also have exceptional catering for events - you don't just get amazing food, you get a full display themed as you request. Food court is good - has a Chickfila and a Quiznos, plus two in-house custom food places and short-order grill in their quick-food-store. Having been a student here for 4 years and continuing on as a graduate student, the Union has been a great place to both study and pick up lunch!
