McDonald's — Restaurant in Norman

2x 2 McSpicy Meal - Short version: Rude, incorrect order, shorted sandwiches AND told I was wrong (with receipt AND menu proof), fries soggy/cold, 11 minutes wait with short line (long time for their chain).

Time was 22:57 on 17MAR13 for accuracy.

Just to note the employee on the intercom was friendly and the person at the first window was friendly. I had ordered 2 of the TWO McSpicy meals (2 sandwiches advertised, 2 shown in the picture) for 4.58 ea. Firstly the McChickens, spicy or regular, are on the dollar menu. I mention this for what comes later. After receiving my drinks from the male employee (whose name I didn't catch, very rude tho). I received a SMALL bag from a female counterpart. After handing me the bag she tried to verify "you had the McChicken with cheese and... etc right?" I said, "No" and handed her the bag back stating I had ordered 2 of the 2 McSpicy McChicken meals. The male that gave me the drinks comes back with a LARGE bag (entirely dif. bag) and asks if they didn't put the right number of sandwiches in it. I said yes, but couldn't tell him what happened because he walked off. Once he came back he tells me I only get 1 McSpicy with each meal (TOTAL RIPOFF AND FALSE ADVERTISING) and I state the sign says otherwise, and it's even called the 2 McSpicy meal.

I also told him the large bag he offered me was not what the female originally handed me, because this was obviously brushed off as my mistake. Deciding $2 of sandwiches wasn't worth arguing over, I left the establishment hurried and frustrated. The receipt verifies "2 McSpicy" along with the advert. $1 sandwich, $1 LARGE drink, $1-2 on fries is cheaper than $4.58, so why would a combo cost a dollar+ more? LOGIC FAILS THEM!

I do not care that I lost $2, it's that I was rudely told I was the one that was wrong AND I received cold fries. The only wait you should have at a fully staffed McDonalds (it's a 24/7 one I believe, it wasn't a dead shift of 1-2 people) is for fries or pies. In addition to the wait, the food, the service, etc. the employees appeared to be engaged in conversation with 2 males standing at the front counter bs'ing in between my brief ordeal.

I will drive a few extra miles for a different McDonalds, or any other fast food place after hours, before I ever return to this one. Thanks for stealing (literally, stealing) my $2 and ruining...

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Waited 5 minutes at the counter, seeing at least 3 employees and walk by and one stopping who I thought was going to take my order only to grab cookies from the case. Then the lady in the blue sweater, being one of the employees that walked by me previous, proceeded to tell me that I had to use the machine behind me to order. I am sorry I am not the generation to use technology for everything. So I waited for someone to take my order. While waiting to customers came out from the parking lot said that they were in parking spaces waiting for the drive-through orders because several cars had already drove off and they still have yet to get their orders. When I finally got my order taken, I’m sorry let me rephrase a who am I soon as a manager in a white shirt told me oh, I’ll get your order in a minute once he finally got my order which was just a frappe, I get it you guys are extremely busy I do it’s also a holiday but for rudeness from all employees is ridiculous. So he took my order. I can see him actually making the frappe and he walks away waiting several minutes. I can see him in the back. He looks at me comes running to the front. I’m so sorry I forgot but I was making you something I had to fix something. Their inside area was completely trashed, and I get it because you guys are extremely busy. You don’t have anybody to stop and go clean the lobby at the moment, but there is no reason for rudeness or being ignored once a customer is trying to place an order. (I don’t really go to McDonalds during the day so this is mainly for the night crew.) I don’t usually write reviews and this review will probably do nothing but this McDonalds is the ABSOLUTE WORST. Customer service? Who is she? McDonald’s for sure hasn’t met her yet. Most of the workers don’t greet you at the windows. They rarely say anything. Just hand you the stuff and hope you drive away. The night manager (idk if he is still there but I gotta include him) absolutely hates his job. I came in one night and stood at the counter for 10 mins. In that 10 mins, I never got greeted and the manager was standing right in front of me doing nothing but complaining. I witnessed the manager throw a phone because it was ringing. When he finally greeted me he said “wait one second” I waited for 5 more minutes (the dining was empty). One night my boyfriend and I went to eat and got a drink. My boyfriend went to refill his drink before leaving and the manager starts yelling at him that he can’t have a refill (don’t know when that became a thing). One day I was in the drive thru and waiting at the 2nd window. Took a few minutes before someone opened the window. He gave me my drink and walked away. Like 10-15 mins later he came back and said “you haven’t gotten your food yet?”Yeah mf I’ve just been sitting here for no reason!?!?! I was livid. And the reason why I decided to write a review is because THEY FORGOT MY SAUCE. They always forget the sauce like they don’t even put at least ketchup. Who eats chicken nuggets without sauce?
