My wife and I hopped into the Norman Qdoba for lunch the other day, a couple months after our last visit..

She sampled grilled chicken nachos, and I had a surf and turf burrito bowl..

The citrus lime shrimp and grilled steak combined with all my other normal toppings for a great lunch.. For the price, the portion size may have been a bit lacking, but all in all, it was a great tasting bowl..

The employees handling the item selections and building our entrees were friendly and accommodating, and the same could be said for the young man at the register..

Our only observed concern was a random and rather large pile of napkins and cup lids under the counter that sits between the two soda machines..

It seems like general housekeeping here, as we have experienced with several other fast and fast casual food chains, seems to need more...

This was 7/31/20 Upon entering this place, there were 2 gentlemen cleaning behind the food stations. As one saw me approach he set aside the broom, pulled up his mask and asked me "burrito or bowl?" I hesitated a moment and asked politely if he would at least change gloves. He said "uh sure" and did so. After heating the tortilla for my burrito he gave me an overflowing spoon of rice and a half scoop of chicken and passed the burrito to the other gentlemen who had his nose hanging out of his mask.

After getting home I took the first bite and to no one's surprise there was no meat. It wasn't until a few bites in that I got what I think was the chicken. Hard to tell when it was so over cooked that it was like chewing gristle.

I wont be coming back. Gave 2 stars because the person (I'm assuming to be the manager) was very friendly at...

Added a Chipotle pic for comparison. Man, Qdoba has really gone downhill. Not sure if these other reviews are incentivized or what, because ever since switching to Chipotle a year or so ago, I’ve tried Qdoba every several months to see if they’re back, and it’s always BAD. Today confirms it’s not a fluke deal. Once you go to Chipotle down the street and come back, the difference is just drastic.

Chips are stale, man. Food is room temp. The meat is always old. The quesadilla is not grilled, not crispy, and it barely has any cheese. And I’m missing my side that comes with it lol. They used to be HEAVENLY. Compare that to the Chipotle pic next to it.

Just sounds like the restaurant is unmotivated, and lacking quality control. It’s a shame because when I started eating here 4 years ago, they didn’t miss. But in the past year, it’s...

It's been a while since I've dined at a Qdoba's, and I've never been to this particular establishment because I live out of state. I have enjoyed Qdoba' back home in the state where I live and my experience eating there has always been positive. I think my biggest complaint here is that the fixings in my burrito were not mixed prior to the burrito being rolled and wrapped. Other similar burrito establishments make a practice of mixing all the ingredients together prior to rolling the burrito. My burrito tasted fine, but near the end most of the black beans were just concentrated in an area, rather than being mixed throughout. I would have enjoyed my burrito more if all the ingredients were mixed throughout prior to being rolled and wrapped. Overall, I still would rate this visit as a positive experience.
