The weirdest thing happened. I was doing standup on a Friday night at this shop which is located in a COLLEGE TOWN. Obviously it wasn't child friendly standup but it's a COLLEGE TOWN and the audience was loving it. The management embarrassed me and kicked me off stage because it was inappropriate even though I warned them before hand my standup is inappropriate. Second wind is a cute little coffee house that has a pretty normal menu of coffee and tea based drinks. What really makes this place for me is the people. I've been here several times now and not once have I been served by a staff member that wasn't genuinely a nice person. This is my absolute FAVORITE coffee place. There's always great resources being passed out here, the fact you don't HAVE to pay for coffee or can pay what you feel like has been indespensable for me, and the volunteers always seem genuinely happy to be there.
