Stachey's Pizza — Restaurant in North Andover

We love Stachey's Pizza and order there a lot! Today, January 4, 2024 I ordered a delivery and the woman who took my call was the rudest person. When I asked for the manager she informed me that she was the manager, I asked for her name and she said Tara. If she is the manager then that is very sad since she had the nastiest attitude. Now maybe it was because she's racist and noticed my accent or she is always rude I don't know. I had never had an experience like this before in a restaurant.

Answering the owners gaslighting response, not feeling heard was not the problem, feeling disrespected was. Second, were you present the moment of the call for you to know that? If so, why didn’t you join the call? She was dismissive and had a nasty tone… if you think the way she spoke to me was in a respectful manner then you two deserve one another…you as her boss and her as your employee. Me expressing that the way she treated me felt like it might be racist is not me using derogatory remarks and offensive but nice try though.

Sadly (because I enjoyed eating there) will not be ordering anymore and will definitely not recommend. Although the staff beside your manager who was not the first time I spoke to and always had a tone with me but never to the point of being directly disrespectful, the staff you have are wonderful and I understand people have bad days but you answering me in this manner not taking even a little responsibility for your rude manager and trying to make it seem like I was using offensive, derogatory remarks because I expressed how the treatment made me feel says a lot about the owners.

At 8:35 I called Stacheys of North Andover looking to order a small cheese pizza. After the first time I was hung up on, maybe too busy ok no problem I called 3 more times and was hung up on each time. I then went to the restaurant, living so close, and asked why I was being hung up on. I was told by the 16 year old running the front that the phones didn't ring. I called again standing there and miraculously the phone rang (LIE). A girl runs up front yelling don't take anymore orders it's too late now, it 8:40. I then asked, is that why I was hung up on 4 times?!" She then told me they don't take orders that late. Instead of answering the phone and saying " we are too busy to take more orders, sorry" I was ignored and then lied to! Reason #40 I will never order from Stacheys again. I tried to give it another chance but after this horrible experience with their staff I'll never go there again and I'm telling everyone around not to go either. Terrible business practice. Get...

A-MAZING!!! Dave and his staff were absolutely the BEST! We unfortunately suffered a loss and were having a celebration of life. Although it is important to feed your guests, this was the last thing we wanted to worry about. I spoke with Dave once and let him know everything we were thinking of having and approximately how many people we thought would attend. His first words were, I’m so sorry for your loss. He then assured us that we didn’t need to worry. He personally delivered and set up, along with staff, exactly what we needed. The food was amazing and we definitely had plenty. I made it a point to let everyone know exactly where it came from. To me though, it wasn’t just about the delicious food that we already knew they had, it was the heartfelt condolences and the compassion he showed. That, my friend, makes you miles ahead of the rest.
