Today, I stopped at the North Bend Starbucks 721 SW Mount Si Blvd North Bend, WA 98045 United States at approx. 8:30am today 10/01/2023. I ordered 1 simple Americano and 1 simple Double Smoked Bacon Breakfast sandwich. The store lobby was not too packed, so I was hopeful that my wait would not be long.
After almost 25+ minutes after waiting patiently, I finally received my sandwich. I got back in line to get a refund because for almost 30 whole minutes, customers who came in long after Me had already received their hot items and coffees… maybe 20 cars had also come and gone through the drive-thru window before my name was ever called.
Finally, my order came up and not 1 apology or “thank you for the wait”. So I got back in line to receive a refund. After waiting another 7 minutes (while on lunch break for work I will add) I finally got to the cashier. I explained that I wanted a refund because I had waited now almost THIRTY WHOLE MINUTES to receive a burnt double smoked bacon sandwich. She stared at me blankly. I figure she can’t hear, so I politely repeat my qualm. I WOULD KINDLY LIKE A REFUND BECAUSE I WAITED NOW 30 minutes to receive my items… customers long after me had received their items first and were long down the road while I stood there in the lobby like an idiot. Workers avoided eye contact with me, but some looked and didn’t say not one word to me… didn’t ask if I had been helped, didn’t bother to check if I needed anything.
So when I’m here talking to the cashier and she’s staring at me like a deer in the headlights, I have to again repeat myself a THIRD TIME. For a refund. She doesn’t understand and says “oh you got the wrong order???” The tall blonde woman clearly came into work late because not only was she rushing but her coworkers said “welcome back, are you feeling better?” A tell-tell sign that this person had been calling out sick. Go-figure. Having to repeat myself three times asking for a refund, she FINALLY says very limply and UNAPOLOGETICALLY, “sorry. We’re training”
The person making the hot food was using ONE over for over 15 minutes. No wonder why the lines are so long. Irreguardless if you’re training or not, common sense tells you there are 2 ovens so use two ovens to finish the cooking in half the time. Nope. She doesn’t.
I am extremely upset and dissatisfied because not only did I watch complete and utter incompetence, but total apathy and disregard. The tall blonde didn’t care that I had waited long before everyone else waiting extra long for a 1:30sec sandwich to heat up!!!!

Read moreI'm a local and go to this Starbucks almost daily. I wish there was another drivethru Starbucks nearby because I hate this one. There's one barista in particular in the morning that seems to hate her job. She's always got an attitude and never makes the drink right if you request something slightly different (she's done this at least 4 times, or every time I've requested something different on my drink). Example from my drive thru experience this morning: I requested an iced caramel latte with whipped cream on top of the caramel sauce. When the person who took the order entered it, it said "ask me" under the drink. I pull up to the window and the girl (who was very polite) handed me my sandwich and said the drink is coming. I could see the barista making hot drinks and was wondering what was taking so long. The window girl went and asked her where mine was and she snapped at her that the order said "ask me". Window girl asks what was special about it and I told her I just wanted whip on top of the caramel instead of caramel on the whip. She tells the barista who is starts making it while slamming things around and mouthing off (complaining I'm assuming) to the window girl. She's being so aggressive with the drink that the drink gets all over the cup to where the window girl had to put it in another cup before handing it to me while apologizing. The best part? The barista still covered the whip with caramel sauce. This is one example of the many times I've had issues with this barista making my drink. If I didn't have a baby I would go to the Starbucks inside Safeway. I'm seriously so sick of...
Read moreThis location stands in the lot of a gas station, so keep that in mind here. My husband had gone into Starbucks with a couple of our children to use the bathroom. He was given the code no problem. Then sent me in with another of our children so I could use the facilities and then get a drink. Immediately upon entering, an employee (bald, male) made it a big deal that I had to buy something before I could use the bathroom. I stated that my husband had just been in there and used the bathroom no problem. This employee did not care, just assumed I wasn’t going to be buying anything. Plus, why would I buy something before using the facilities when I have a child in tow???? This employee just said “that’s the rules.” And turned his back on me. This is all over a bathroom! I’m not saying anything concrete but the person who had used this bathroom right before him was also a bald man (may be unrelated, but this employee was no where to be found when my husband was going to the bathroom, there were only women at the counter). My husband found a toilet seat which had urine all over the seat, clearly showing that the man who had used the restroom last could not even be bothered to lift the lid. To sum up. I will not...
