Stopped at this place on the way home from a trip today. Unfortunately while we were there, there was a guy that was not happy with the service his table had been receiving and he was getting a bit loud, talking to staff getting heated and going off, dropping the f-bomb like every other word, causing a little bit of a sceen while complaining to them about the service and continued while they were getting that tables check and boxing up their food, etc. This was excessive, my 4 year old son was with me and i was not going to have that example being set for him. I piped up saying "Sir i understand you're frustration and that you're upest with you're service but could you please watch the language a bit, i've got my young son here." He didnt handle that very well, gave me an inappropriate gesture which was fallowed by me saying "or i could just call the police about you vulgar behavior đ¤ˇââď¸." He shut up mostly only making a comment about the tip, paid and left. Well i just realized the staff might have took what i said thinking i was also unhappy with my service. I am sure the staff this evening will remember. I just want to say i was not unhappy with my service at any point tonight, when I said that I meant I've had experiences like at restaurants before, I've have been that frustrated, i think we all might have at some point so i do get it. When i said that I was trying to not discredit his or his groups feelings and experience and frustration while pointing out that how he was handling it was not ok. I dont know how any anyone else, beside that guy, felt about their service but mine was wonderful. Also I had the French Dip sandwich and it was the best I've had out at a restaurant in a long. So good. My son had the kids pizza with fries, he...
Read moreOur family came in for a group event. The restaurant was packed with kids, parents and relatives, and there were three servers covering the bar and dinner tables.
At first things started out well, and we asked for waters when we sat down. A short while later, the server took our food and drink orders, and we ordered pizza for all of us, and beers for my wife and I.
A while passed and we didn't receive waters. Eventually our food came out, and we also asked for some root beers for the kids. Each time we asked for waters, beers and sodas, the server acknowledged our requests and said he would bring them.
We watched the server pass by our table multiple times, bringing round after round of water and drinks to a larger table with many people seated just a few feet away from ours. The table behind us also got second rounds, and so did other tables nearby.
Our kids began to feel thirsty, so after almost an hour, I was able to get waters from a different server at the bar. However, neither our drinks nor sodas ever came, and eventually when the server brought our bill, he didn't apologize for not bringing what we asked; only saying he'd remove the charges from the bill.
I don't know if they didn't staff accordingly or the servers were simply chasing bigger tips from bigger tables, but at the very least, water should always be served to customers. It's a basic courtesy that I learned when I worked at restaurants, and it's just the kind thing to do, especially when there are kids eating.
I will not be coming back, nor will I recommend this...
Read moreI walked in here today in here with my brand new ADIDAS. And feel like it screamed "I'm poor". 5 minutes later I was greeted. But then I watched her seat and get drinks for 2 other tables that came in afterwards. I had a gentleman sit next to me 15 minutes after I was there, that apparently was a regular. Who she severed his drink same time as me, which was plainly obvious by her nonverbal gestures, that I only got mine because she was happy to see him sit down. And she served him his drink without him even having to say anything. Then 2 other tables sit down, I finally get my order in. But 5 tables, including that gentleman that came in 15 minutes later, get their food before me.
I may not dress like a millionaire. But I didn't look like a homeless person either. Even if I was, I am a human being worthy of more respect than I was given. Do I have money, yes. Would I give it to a place that wants to treat someone dressed like they could afford it, service like this. No.
I'm not rich, but I can afford to eat here every day, if I wanted. There are 2 other restaurants in this complex I've been at nearly every day for the 2 weeks I've been here. I just wanted something different. Certainly not coming here again.
And the food wasn't any better than the places that charge $10 less. The Thai Cookery had a beef plate that is AWESOME for less than $15. And they have AMAZING service. The lasagna here isn't any better than Marie Callender's...
