The only thing more depressing than eating there is the pizza.
Go literally anywhere else.
Update, the owner (manager?) replied to this posting and asked me to give them another shot. I happened to be around there one day and wanting a slice, so I did. That’s ok buddy, it’s on me (he offered to buy).
Sadly, it’s really no different. If anything, it’s saltier. You can’t really taste much else. The cheese is rubbery and you really can’t taste the sauce at all. The crust is chewy. This was my impression when I had a slice there, so I called and had a fresh pie delivered. It’s so salty and greasy from what seems like low quality cheese. Being fair, the rice balls are ok, and I’ve had a couple sandwiches too, that were decent. Nothing stands out though, it’s not so outstanding or even tasty that you’d want to go again.
You don’t want to stay and eat there, it’s literally depressing. Since I was there last they painted it white, so now you can see more clearly how little they put into the decor. I’ve seen pizza places in way worse areas that look nicer. I mean come on guys, walk in any pizza place in the area.
The staff do what they do, the younger crowd working nights seem to care a lot more than the older guy during the day.
If you’re in the neighborhood and want a good slice, walk over to Tonnelle Ave and down three blocks to Nonna Maria, less than 5 mins away. The pizza is miles better, slices are bigger, the atmosphere is quite pleasant, and they don’t ask 3 bucks for a slice...

Read moreTo be Frank, this place is no longer Frank . I placed my order off of the Menu, and i pointed at a slice to eat. The portion of pasta was very small. I received no bread. I questioned the charge once I received my receipt. I confronted the Cashier and pizza maker, who had a problem with the question, what did you charge me for? The menu pricing and Pricing on the store walls are different . I suggested he throw out the "ten" menus he had left, in which i received threats on my lively hood for. Which makes perfect sense. If you can upcharge, you can afford Accurate menus. Especially if you are running low on them.
Before this incident I placed a phone call a few weeks back. I ordered a Sicilian Pie, for take out at 8pm; In which the Owner answered and refused to make a Fresh Pie. Weird business.
I give it one star for the lack of respect and consideration to...
