Have always wanted to try Jersey Mikes and because we went to Walmart we decided to stop at this location. There were 3 employees although the third wasn’t noticeable till the end. 2 females and a male. Upon entering the establishment I noticed a bunch of cold cuts on display. The cold cuts looked disgusting and the presentation was horrible and I was able to give it a few looks because of how long we stood there before any of the staff acknowledged us. There was no line and no on me in front we were the only waiting. (Even bodegas in the Bronx have better deli displays) The female was finishing a sandwich which she pilled about 5 inches of lettuce on, still not acknowledging us. The male wasn’t doing much. And then after about 5 -10 mins of us standing there tells us “give me a few I have to peal this onion and proceeds to peal the onion over a messy crumby dirty countertop. He wasn’t in a rush and honestly could have served us especially after making us wait but his priority was not customer service it was to peal that onion. The female never even made eye contact and you could tell she was rude lol her priority after the sandwich she made was to tidy up the messy counter top although it remained a mess. Chicken Cheese Steak: I ordered this with high hopes, but I had to play a game of “Where’s Waldo?” with the chicken. Spoiler alert: I never found it. What little was on the sandwich was so overcooked and dry, I’m pretty sure it could’ve been repurposed as packing material. The roll? Let’s just say it was more suited for a crouton factory—stale, crunchy, and definitely not fresh.
Big Kahuna: I ordered it on white bread, but apparently, they decided I needed more fiber in my life and gave me wheat instead. Thanks for looking out, but that’s not what I ordered. And where was the beef? I don’t know if they’re rationing meat, but I’ve seen more filling in a bag of airline peanuts. As for the veggies—let’s just say they were as scarce as a quiet day on the Jersey Turnpike.
Both sandwiches were a complete disappointment. I was left wondering if I had stumbled into a food mirage where sandwiches look good but taste like regret.

The second time however had multiple problems. 1.) I was missing a hot sub from my order, and 2.) One of the sandwiches wasn't to my specifications. If I order a sandwich with no tomato and extra bacon, I should expect to see that. I didn't get either. The ingredients were fresh though so the food gets a pass. I called the location regarding my order and I was a little confused by their way of assisting. First, they tried to get me to come to the store the following day for a free sub. Next, they told me I couldn't get a refund because I ordered through Door dash, which wasn't true. Eventually I got my refund. Why couldn't they just send the missing sub?
