The experience I had at the deli was beyond disappointing and highlighted a serious lack of professionalism from both the staff and management. I stood there for ten minutes while a thin, dirty-blonde-haired employee blatantly ignored me. He chose to stand around chatting with two other employees instead of assisting me, despite the fact that I was the only customer in line. When I finally asked for help, he didnāt just brush me offāhe deliberately walked to the back, making it clear he had no intention of doing his job.
When I brought this to the managerās attention, I was met with an equally troubling response: complete indifference. Itās obvious the manager would rather be seen as a āfriendā to the staff than as a leader responsible for holding them accountable. This laissez-faire attitude is not only unprofessional but also unacceptable in a management role. If this is the standard of leadership, itās no wonder the employees feel they can act so rudely without consequence.
Frankly, both the employee and the manager should be reconsidered for their positions. This level of unprofessionalismāfrom ignoring customers to dismissing valid complaintsāreflects poorly on the entire establishment. A serious reevaluation of staff and management practices is...

We did not inspect it thoroughly because we picked it up in the Evening after 9:00pm and it was pretty late. When we got home and getting it ready to install it, we noticed that the packaging is old and had an Warranty Expiration Date of 2013. We went back to get it replaced but they claim that it's not their item and accused us that it's our old printer cartridge and that we are just returning it so we can get a new one. This is so FRUSTRATING! We've been a BJs member for over 10 years already and just ignored the other prior mishaps. But this one can no longer be ignored as it is really BAD and costing us $100. We're CANCELLING BJs membership now. NEVER EVER again going back there. It does explain why this North Brunswick BJs location only has few customers. Other reviewers were also right about expired items they are selling and yup we saw them on the BJs shelves.
