Folks: don't bother with Starbucks North Brunswick. Drive to another one. Took me more than 30 mins to get 2 drinks.
I live in the same town and despite giving this place a shot after multiple disappointing visits, today ended up being yet another disappointing visit. And this time, I'm reviewing it
I had ordered 2 drinks.
Drink #1: After 20 minutes of waiting and not hearing my name being called, I checked out the pickup table and saw an empty cup with my name on it. So I asked the barista and she tells me to go to the ordering counter. There, I was told rather rudely that they didn't have Nitro coffee for my drink. (I ordered online and it was available when I ordered it). They said we can give you the drink with regular coffee and reimburse the difference. I had to wait another 10 minutes to get drink #1, which totalled to 30 minutes wait for it. The drink turned out awefully sweet. I get this drink from other Starbucks and it's never like this. But I admit, I'm fully aware of how inconsistent this Starbucks North Brunswick is, and giving them another chance was my mistake.
Drink#2: At this point it has been 30 minutes and I'm still waiting for drink#2. I asked for it, and they scrambled to look for my order, which came out about 7-8 minutes later.
Extremely disappointed. There were 5 baristas behind the counter and 1 apparently finished her shift and walked out when I was there. So it didn't look like they were understaffed.
Lastly, it has been 3 days and I don't see my partial...
Read moreThis place reminds me why I go to dunkin..work nearby so it's unfortunately my only option for coffee on my break...first time I let It go how slow they were when there was absolutely no one else there..second time will be the last..all I ordered was a coffee ...after 5 minutes of waiting since being a former starbucks employee coffee is the first drink made usually by the cashier that rang you up..getting more annoyed I ask the barista if my coffee that hasn't been made yet people after me got theirs..completely ignored me and kept making drinks..until I got to my I need to speak to your manager level..and I never get there..and I'm finally given a very rude response of I'm making it now..lets piss off a customer before their coffee..wise..and gotta love their complete lack of any shred of customer service just rudely handing it to me and walking away..thankss..you have a great day tooo...a line used by 4 other pissed off customers rudely just shoved their drinks with no thank you or anything..getting why this one's never busy...hire people who actually have even semi decent customer service skills and can make their drinks for their crowded 4 or 5 customers in there in...
Read moreI have been going to this Starbucks for years. Recently I went to get a drink using the drive thru and unfortunately my drink wasn’t prepared properly.
I was unable to come back because it was late and they had already closed.
I was hoping that I could bring the drink back the next day but couldn’t due to a busy day. I had to throw it out. I feared that without the drink or my receipt there was no way they’d listen to me or make a new drink to make up for it.
To my surprise when I called the location a lady by the name of Karen (I might be spelling it wrong) was sweet and grateful that I wanted to come and allow them to make my drink again!
Yes it was inconvenient not getting my drink the night I felt like it, however, humans work in the service industry and they too will mess up every now and then. We all do!
I feel grateful for their service and the fact I they allowed me to order a completely different drink because I didn’t want coffee the day I went back.
Go here confident that if you’re not satisfied with your drink they will take care of you!
