We’ve been going to Italo’s since I was in high school and it used to be one of the best places in town to get a pizza. The current owners are definitely quite rude with my husband nearly every time he picks up our dinner. So we started going to the Italo’s on Market until they closed (unfortunately)so we started ordering from North Canton again and it’s just not worth it. The employees are always outside smoking..last time we were there waiting for our food for fifteen minutes there were three employees outside smoking. They kept going in and out. We ordered pizza and jojos (and we were on time ) my husband went in and they had our pizzas ready (he saw them) and they said the jojos would be just a another few minutes and they would bring them out to us, well 10 minutes passed and the kids and I insisted he go in ( I just wished I would’ve went in because he’s too nice) and see what’s taking so long and the lady with an attitude said oh I guess I didn’t hear the timer go off. Maybe if you weren’t letting all your employees keep taking smoke breaks all at once and concentrate on your (40+ years in our case) customers you could serve them the quality Italo’s pizza Luigi used to and lost your attitude you wouldn’t have to be reading this. Also we asked for them to not let the cheese overcook because they always seem to do that and our one pizza was fine, the other not so much and yep they were also cold. This will probably be our last time getting pizza from North Canton Italo’s which is so sad because it’s always been one of our favorite places but we’d rather patronize a local pizza joint that actually doesn’t make you feel like we’re a bother, listens to what you’re ordering and serves hot,...
Read moreIf I could rate this a -100 star I would. My mother called Thanksgiving Eve at 750 pm. Initially spoke to a woman, ordered our pizza and she told this associate I would be picking up this Pizza by 830pm took her payment info AND then simultaneously another associate got on the phone and said VERBATUM “ do you think your daughter can get here a lot sooner than 830 pm” “ BECAUSE WE HAVE FAMILIES HERE AND HAVE TO GET HOME TO THEM” My mother needless to say ( a 83 year old woman who DOES NOT NEED TO BE TREATED DISRESPECTFULLY) . told her probably not, I live in canton. And NO WHERE IN THE CONVERSATION with 2 customer service associates was she told Italos would be closing ( as they were taking here payment information at 750 pm). My mother told them to cancel the order but they declined an said no they’d make it. “””””so now as I was leaving my house in canton at 803pm I was calling them to let them know I was on my way. “”””” and no one answered their phone GUESS WHAT ?? THEY WERE CLOSED so my mothers credit card charged, another ridiculous mishap that has to be dealt with after the Holiday and No Pizza. I myself have worked with the public for 34 years. And if I ever spoke to a customer in a tone so demeaning , cocky and without thought of consequences, I would be out of a job without any reason or...
Read morePizza was ok, but the woman at the register is just rude and nasty. First, as I was waiting to give her my name, she was yelling at someone ordering over the phone who clearly couldn't hear her. Next, after waiting 25 minutes for our order to be ready, for whatever reason, our small was just going in the oven. Her excuse was "as you can see, we're busy". This would be an acceptable excuse except, the large was done and boxed. I then asked her if the jojo's were ready and she mumbled something under her breath that she wouldn't repeat when I asked her what she said, so I'm sure it wasn't anything professional. I understand things happen but there was no ownership or even an apology for the issue. I wish I could say this was the first time I received an attitude from the people that work there, but it seems every time we go there they are just rude and nasty. We use to go there more often but stopped because of the service. I regret going back and won't be back again. There are many more pizza shops around town and I haven’t had one yet be rude and nasty, especially when they...
