This place was interesting. They have a heck of a food menu, beautiful atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. My only down side was the beer but I'll get to that.
The food and service was excellent. Waitress was extremely attentive and friendly. Enjoy every interaction that we had. But let me tell you, the food was insane. I had the smoked Gouda bites and then the Kasespatzle. I cannot stop thinking about either one. Both were absolutely delicious and extremely filling. I can't wait to go back and try the other ones.
As for the beer and other alcohols... I'm confused. This place very clearly has a German feel but it feels as though they have an identity crisis. The beer I had, an IPA and a Porter were just fine. I did not dislike them but they were nothing to get excited about. However, I was surprised to find that the German alcohol seemed to be lacking. I suppose I expected more German-esque beer and was met with a very diverse menu of beers and liquors. Is that bad? Not necessarily, but why is a German place giving me an IPA? It just seemed odd and honestly I wasn't anything super great.
I've been telling all my friends, go for the food, it's incredible. However, the beer needs some work. It's not bad but it's nothing that blew me away. I think you'll leave full though and I think that counts...

Read moreBlah. This one may not survive. Finally made it there today (2/3/23). I visit many craft breweries and I want them ALL to survive but this one has issues. 1. $7 pints; 2. Uncomfortable seats; 3. Not overly ambitious server and barkeep sat down behind bar; 4. Beer...other than slightly overpriced, not impressive. Not tasty to say the least; 5. Make up your mind on bathrooms...being nice is one thing, having girls deal with the same toilet as guys use is not nice; 6. Very little taste in the Kase Spaetzle; 7. House made beer cheese is good; 8. It was cold in there. Now for the beers, tried the Hensys Honey -- just average beer with a hint of sweet, the Schwarbier was dark but flavorless, and the Weiss with the jalapeno syrup was jalapeno tasty, but zero beer taste. Creativity missing. I so wanted this to be good! It is not. I love small businesses but some...
