Unpleasant Experience at Swensons: Poor Customer Service and Managerial Issues
I recently had a disappointing experience at Swensons, primarily due to the subpar customer service provided by a staff member named Ayden. Upon realizing my order was incorrect, when approached by Ayden, who not only refused to acknowledge the mistake but also insisted on unnecessary arguments.
When I requested Ayden's manager's name, supposedly Alex, the situation escalated further. Ayden's refusal to rectify the order and his aggressive behavior left me feeling treated unfairly. Additionally, a lady, presumably a trainee, displayed unprofessionalism by not addressing me directly and mishandling the payment process.
Furthermore, during the phone order, Ayden repeatedly made mistakes, and instead of acknowledging them, he argued, creating unnecessary tension. The encounter culminated in Ayden following my car when I attempted to leave, further escalating an already unpleasant situation.
Overall, the combination of poor service, argumentative behavior, and a lack of managerial intervention made this visit to Swensons highly unsatisfactory. I hope the management addresses these issues to ensure a more positive experience for customers...
Read moreI live in North Canton and have gone to the Swenson’s here for years. It is now a foregone conclusion that Every Single Time there will be something wrong with the order. It’s now a running joke at our house. Only ice in the California. No lemon in the California. Where is the 3rd order of fries? Did t we get it without onions? It’s as if making burgers fries and drinks are foreign to the workers there and don’t understand the intricacies of making changes to the sandwich or making a drink for the 5000th time. Excuses? Plenty. “We were really slammed.” What? With other customers that pay better? Sorry - I thought I was paying too. Yet we are still expected to give a tip- or else we are cheap. The problem is there are no longer any consequences for poor service. And we as the customer just expect it. So I can go to any sit down restaurant and pay equivalent that I do at Swensons for burgers, but at least I will get good service. They were empathetic to my experience and mailed me a gift card to use in the future. Thank you Swenson's for your awesome customer service! Hopefully my next visit will be a more enjoyable one!
I use to recommend Swenson's but today was not on point. I pulled in and my waitress was very prompt and very sweet. She took my order. A single cheeseburger and 2 shakes to go. It wasn't busy at the time. After 15 min. my order arrived. So, how in the world was the cheeseburger cold??? I'm not talking warm, literally cold!! The cheese wasn't even melted! I took the top bun off and the burger looked like a kids meal burger and dry. (Definitely did not look like a Swenson's burger!) I should have taken a picture of it).
