Burger King — Restaurant in North Carolina

What a change since last time we ate here 6 months ago. This time, they had no record of our mobile order, but eventually found it. The fries were not cooked through and some of them were raw-like in the middle, and cold. The cheese on the "Whopper" was so small and thin you really don't know there is cheese on the thing; plus they have made the actual "Whopper" meat patty much smaller and thinner. The bun is like an inch or more wider than the burger now, so you can actually take a bite and get just roll and no meat. How they can call this sandwich a Whopper is a joke now. Where's the beef???!!! Also, the burger itself was cold. The drink machine had no ice in it, and the place was empty. We were the only people eating inside. They had rap music loudly playing inside the restaurant to the point of distraction and making you want to leave. No one working there looked happy, and we really felt the place was going out of business. Lights were turned down real low, and the outside lights were dark too. It was only 7 PM at night, yet seemed like they were closed at 2 AM. What a shame. Another American icon just fading away. The food was cold, not tasty, small meat patties, and unhappy employees. This was the best from a burger we have had in forever! All the food was hot and fresh. Well, hot enough to eat haha Don't want it scolding lol even the jalapeño poppers where divine!! I could eat those without melting my throat. The pies were defrosted to the point of enjoyment. Even the sweet tea was great and made to my liking. Which doesn't happen at all places I visit. To put it bluntly, I didn't hardly touch my drink at all because I was enjoying my food way too much. Usually I'm drinking my drink constantly. I've never been to this Burger King before, but I think in my travels, when I'm hungry, this will most definitely be my pit stop must. Matt was very nice as well. This store doesn’t care one bit about orders from Uber Eats or DoorDash. The order comes in, take 5-10 mins to drive to the store. The order should be ready. Nope! Then they know you are there for the order and if they have any other orders to do, they will do them first and make you wait. Taking 30 mins to get FAST FOOD is ridiculous. Every regular restaurant in town came produce a burger faster than Burger King. How is that? Your burgers are already cooked!
