Best breakfast experience i’ve ever had. We were a party of 4 that came in about an hour to closing time. As soon as we walked into the door we were welcomed with a smiling face and great attitude. Joseph or better known as Joey was our server, he was amazing. Me myself i’m a serving so i’m very understanding about things that can happen but i’m also hard to impress. I was so impressed by his attitude and just the patience and time he took into taking care of us and getting our order. Food came out quick and was amazing! Music was great while eating they played living on a prayer along with michael jackson. before we left we got a cocktail to try, it did take a second to come out however i wasn’t worried about the wait because i noticed they didn’t have a full bar and i assumed the servers had to make the drinks themself. Joey however without asking went ahead and discounted part of the drink for the wait. Just amazing...
Read moreSeated and placed order. Asked for iced tea. No ice— ice machine broken. No lemons. Obviously understand ice machines malfunction. But the distinctive thing was the waitress who didn’t act like she cared and never offered any options. Just slapped the tea down on the table and walked away. It was our third try there. None of the visits competed favorably with the other two breakfast places in Denver. Orders were simple (eggs grits and bacon). Grits were mediocre at best. Eggs the same. Perhaps the most startling thing was the diff with this Famous Toastery and the one in Huntersville. Huntersville was hand-stands over this one. From atmosphere to food to service. Staff was friendlier in Huntersville, and they seemed to have it together— with food and atmosphere..They cared if you enjoyed your meal. Denver — no care. Staff today was unfriendly and didn’t give two cents about whether you...
Read moreSo my family and I decided to try out Famous Toastery for breakfast today, and wow—10/10 would recommend (and not just because I was starving).
We sat outside because, you know, fresh air and pretending we’re outdoorsy. Our server Kayley was great, and her partner-in-breakfast-crime (whose name I totally forgot, sorry!) suggested the breakfast bowl with chorizo. And let me tell you… that thing slapped. I’m not saying I saw God after the first bite, but I’m also not not saying that.
The kids got pancakes, which disappeared faster than their attention spans, so that’s a win. My husband got the Left Coast BLT and swears it’s the best BLT he’s ever had—which is wild coming from a man who’s basically a sandwich snob.
Even sitting outside in the summer heat, the service was still super attentive and genuinely friendly. Overall, our first visit was a hit. We’ll definitely be back…...
