This is the first time that I have ever written a review, I’ve never felt the need to until now… I live less than 2 hours from Brevard. I came here for the first time about a month ago with my sister and we were greeted with a group of teenagers with their backs turned from the window and laughing it up during a busy rush hour after waiting in line for 20 minutes. The girl NEVER spoke to us the ENTIRE time, wasn’t friendly or welcoming at all, she continued her conversations with her other coworkers while laughing in our faces. Me and my sister looked at each other and were thinking the same thing, about how rude they were being. We felt like we were back in school dealing with mean girls again lol. We thought maybe we just caught them on a bad day. Well… that wasn’t the case. I came back this afternoon with my boyfriend, it was very slow no line at all. We get up to the window and again there was a younger man with his back faced away from us, we had to get his attention because he didn’t see us. I said “Hey how are you?” And he just asked for our order… whatever, ignored that. We ordered and he repeated the wrong thing to the other workers so I corrected him and even still they gave me the wrong thing. I told them it was in the wrong kind of cone which was a sugar cone instead of a waffle cone. A waffle cone is bigger to fill and she just dumped my ice cream on top of a sugar cone. So my entire cone was hollow. My boyfriend ended up with his entire cone full with more ice cream when we ordered the same thing. It was very annoying. The service is horrible. All of the employees are extremely rude and don’t act like they care about the customers or their job at all. The ice cream is good but over priced, definitely not worth it especially considering how horrible the customer service is. I have seen a ton of other reviews complaining about the service, but personally I don’t think that will ever change at this location. It is a touristy area and there will always be new people...

WOW!!! Did I get hosed,.....l am local and have been patronizing this place for years and have been fine with product and pricing, until today. Two kiddie cups and two small soft serve cones for a whopping $25.43 cents. My jaw dropped needless to say and when I started asking questions, one of which was to itemize the purchase the staff (young kids without supervision) immediately became defensive and rude. They did not want to explain pricing and just repeated that the purchase was already rung up????? Receipt i was given only says one custom item with a 4% service fee. I asked to speak with the manager, their response.....”he doesn’t want to hear what you have to say” completely shocked! Staff refused to say his name, provide a number he could be reach at or even say their own names. This much deception clearly indicates fraud. I have seen it before and can only imagine the number of people who are being ripped of. Never did i expect this From Dolly’s. For comparison, a good half gallon brand of ice cream at ingles will run you $7.88. You could even buy two cases (24 bottles of beer) for the same. Sorry, but you just lost my business. Simple matters are easy to rectify and retain long term business which ownership clearly has no interest. The word of your practicing fraud and deception...
Read moreStopped by here after dinner during our stay this week in NC. First time here. I love ice cream and this place is worth a try. It's our first time here and got double scoop of rainbow sherbet in a waffle cone. Got it promptly, too. There are many varieties of ice cream you can pick from, such as mint chocolate chip, raspberry sorbet, rainbow sherbet, etc. See picture of menu) You can choose a waffle cone or a sugar cone, or if you want a cup! They also have snow cones. Flavors include: grape and blue raspberry. The people there are friendly and the service is great. You can eat your ice cream on the patio with the beautiful colored lights and chairs, as well as there being umbrellas being available to sit under as well to stay cool. Prices are just amazing for some yummy ice cream! ($6.75 for a double scoop in a cone, can't go wrong) It's unbeatable! I highly recommend coming here. You won't regret it. Long lines? No problem! The wait is worth it! Will be back :) Update: I came back yesterday and got a double raspberry sherbet cone, but didn't receive it when I thought I would, so we reminded the person behind the counter about it and she gave us an extra scoop on top to apologize. It was no problem at all :) Dolly's, keep up the...
